It is my understanding that Wilson Pickett was Tom Jones' idol and inspiration. That makes this a very special moment in the careers of both men.
-
Tom knows how to blend with the best of them . He doesn't try to upstage anyone and just naturally blends.
-
Everyone thought Tom was square but he ALWAYS brought the best and most creative artists on his show. Everyone who loved music respected him.
-
Live band , live singers , no lipsynching, no auto tune. Pure talent.
-
The older I get the more I realize how damn good was and is Sir Thomas Jones. Just superb 👍
-
This is the very definition of absolute cool
-
Tom Jones is so respectful to the other artists. I always enjoy seeing him perform with other great artists! ♥️
-
Suits, corded microphones, real band and no auto tune. Geez. Raw and incredible talent. Yeh, I’m showin’ my age and proudly so 😃
-
The phrase "My brother from another mother." comes to mind when I watch this video. They are so good together.
-
Who can give a “thumb down” to this outstanding and memorable duo ???
-
Amen!!! I have loved R'n'B, Blues, Rock 'n Roll and Soul Music since I was a kid. I'm 71 and still listening and loving it all!!!❤❤❤❤
-
My mom is 97 yrs young and still has the 🔥🔥🔥Tom Jones 🔥🔥🔥
-
So, Tom Jones needs his own weekly tv show again where he does duets with other singers like he used to. I needs to happen.
-
Who else could switch lead and backup vocals with Wilson Pickett? Two class acts bringing the best out in each other.
-
Tom Jones can sing anything with anyone and make it all better.
-
Probably the best version of Hey Jude I've ever heard
-
Now that is what I call singing! Two true masters!
-
These 2 gentlemen ... i have no words, sooo fantastic!
-
You can tell Wilson Pickett sings with passion, natural and beautiful. May his soul rest in peace.

I was kid when music like this was everywhere, at that time it never occurred to me that music would never get better than this, that I was growing up in a musical golden age that would never be repeated. I was so very lucky
