Fun Fact: While this film is credited as the last film for one-time Oscar-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith (He won the Oscar for "THE OMEN 1976") before his passing from cancer in 2004, his original final score was to be for the film adaptation of Michael Crichton's "Timeline" from director Richard Donner. Unfortunately, due to the film's poor reception in test screenings, it was re-edited from 2 hours & 16 minutes to an hour & 56 minutes, which resulted in Goldsmith's original score being re–placed with a new score by Brian Tyler.

To be fair, Roger Corman is also responsible for starting the careers of future film stars like Jack Nicholson, Peter Fonda, Dennis Hopper, Bruce Dern & Diane Ladd (Laura Dern's parents), Talia Shire, Tommy Lee Jones, Charles Bronson, and William Shatner and future Oscar-winning film directors Curtis Hanson, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorcese, Ron Howard, Jonathan Demme, and James Cameron.
