Awesome video!!! FINALLY - someone talks about this movie for what it is. Seems like "movie reaction" channels avoid this movie for whatever reason or they just have not gotten to it yet. Anyway, LOVE this movie and watch a few times a year and - yep - does drain one's soul because on man's brutality against man for no damn reason (kind of like that movie "The Devil's Rejects). Too bad this movie was cut up like it is for most of the deleted scenes actually ADD to the story and explain a lot of what is happening. Hope a director's cut comes out with those scenes restored. Watching the reactions of the refugee's during that village scene - gets me every time. May not be a "perfect" movie but it tells a powerful story. I have 1 complaint about this movie: WHY the heck is CPT Rhodes on an active flight deck of an aircraft carrier talking on his satellite phone??? He would have his own stateroom/briefing room somewhere inside that big-a$$ ship, but - no - he's on the flight deck getting in the way of aircraft operations!!! Never understood that, probably the Navy would not allow filming inside the carrier for whatever reason in reality, but.....

This is one of my favorite. I agree with your commentary. Another favorite is the 13th Warrior.

Fun fact. Dictionary from the late 1800s said Americans were the copper colored people that were in America when colonizers "discovered" it. When they changed that definition it became a European description of the 2nd generation of the first Europeans . ALOT OF THINGS WERE CHANGED BY PAPER IN AMERICA.

Please listen to fear and loathing in the new Jerusalem podcast series. I promise you’ll enjoy it, it’s made by an American right leaning veteran who is, I believe, still a defense contractor in Israel. You’ll mind will be blown. 💯
