#30 Before Movies Sucked! - Jurassic Park (30th Anniversary/30th Episode Special)

17:31-17:40 Then again, in one deleted scene (that should've NEVER been deleted in the first place): A drunk Peter Ludlow — after an argument with Roland Tembo about his bait plan — got spooked by something that ran past his leg, which caused him to lose his balance and he fell on top of the baby Rex, breaking its leg. Had that scene been kept in the final film, then all the hate that Nick Van Owen received would've been placed on Peter Ludlow. Think about it. Had Ludlow not injured the baby Rex, Nick wouldn't have moved it to the Challenger Trailers and Eddie Carr would still be alive. Plus, Sarah's jacket wouldn't have been stained with the baby Rex's blood. Nick wouldn't have stolen Roland's .600 Nitro Express rounds and the Hunters wouldn't have wasted their ammo on Mama Rex and might have had a fighting chance against the Raptors. And both teams (minus Dieter Stark probably, since he WAS abusive to the Compys) would've got out of Site B thanks to their boats & choppers and returned to the mainland safely.

I never understood why these scientists contained these dinosaurs on a remote island only to create flying and aquatic dinosaurs that can reach the mainland.

My favorite Dinosaur is Maiasaura, the "Good Mother Lizard", featured in the two Michael Crichton novels and "JURASSIC WORLD: Evolution". My favorite moment is from Michael Crichton's "THE LOST WORLD" where a group of Maiasaura violently destroyed Dodgson's Jeep, only to gently pick up one egg & one hatched infant (both eggs were stolen by Dodgson & his small team) and take 'em back to their nests.

Fun Fact: One deleted character in "JURASSIC PARK" was a baby Triceratops (played by a 5 foot Stan Winston animatronic) and Lex Murphy was to ride on top of it, but it got cut from the film. It did get to make an quick appearance in "THE LOST WORLD: Jurassic Park" during the scene where Sarah Harding & Nick Van Owen freed the caged "Site- B" Dinosaurs from the main antagonist Peter Ludlow & the InGen Hunters. The deleted scene involving a kid riding a baby Triceratops would be recreated in "JURASSIC WORLD", but with a CGI baby Triceratops.
