I love love love your interpretations here!! They translate so well! The Gandalf class had me hooked for the rest of your video.

If you wanted to start Aragorn as a Ranger, you could have him start as a Ranger Knight (I think it’s under preferred enemy). He gets heavy armor proficiency along with history proficiency, which is also lore accurate for Aragorn.

really nice list, agree with most picks. wonder how this group would do in honour mode haha

You really did a great job with these, I have to say! I first read The Lord of the Rings in sixth grade (though my mom read it aloud to me and my siblings before that) and watched the films on first release back in 2001-3. I think you did really well at capturing the characters as best you could with BG3 5e. If you ever continue with LotR builds, might I suggest Radagast? He'd be a bit of a change of pace (if you go by his film portrayal) - you'd probably be able to give him druid (Circle of the Land) levels, possibly a couple levels of paladin (Oath of the Ancients) or cleric (Nature or Life domain). He'd be a support character, mostly healing and buffing the party. Or do Beorn the Skin-changer as a Circle of the Moon druid, or Thorin Oakenshield as an Oath of Vengeance paladin. Out of curiosity, have you considered Warcraft character BG3 builds at all?
  • For extra flavor points, release a build compilation extended cut with all the appearances and bonus sections so it'll be at least 3 hours long. Also i know i help with these builds, but Tom Bombadil when?!

The builds were nice and fitting, but I couldn't fathom why wasn't an attempt even made to make "Frodo" look more like Frodo, despite the different body type :P
