I was once doing McDonald’s tray skids in my 1.2 corsa, saw a police car coming so tried to drive away pretending it wasn’t me but the police car blocked me, they checked the whole car over and just roasted me for how shit it was, told me grow up and go home. That hurt way more than getting a ticket

    Taylor's great at storytelling

"A 20 that shouldn't be a 20." Very much like all of Wales right now...
  • I got pulled over by the Police back in 2013 in a similar way. We just finished My 1994 Civic Coupe, on the way back from the bodyshop, fresh paint, slammed on 16" wheels, 10" of camber 😂😂😂😂 and Police turned after Me, rushed down the street up in my ass, fleshing and all that. I was shitting my pants obviously and He said. " I just pulled you over because i have an EJ coupe like You do and wanted to check it out" my voice was cracking up the whole time 😂😂

the thought of garreth in the back of a police car just making the police drive all over is fucking hilarious. thats what being mates is all about. if you have a fall out, not long later you got each others backs again.

Alex Story reminded me of my youth shenanigans. Us 8 lads picked up a Fiat 126 and put it on top of a phone booth (when those were still a thing). It was much easier than we thought

Do you plan on ever releasing the full podcast episodes onto YouTube?
  • My "dumbest" thing...... I used to have a Fiat X1/9. One dark and wet night on the away home with the girlfriend I snapped the throttle cable. Soooooo to get home I told her to get in the driver's seat and go everything except the throttle as I'd do that, sat on the boot with my head in the engine bay. It worked well..... however near where we lived there was a crossroad with lights and just as we hit it we blasted through on green, however sat at the lights was a police BMW interceptor...... we shot up the back street and I jumped off and run in the house, got changed and walked out the house. Copper knew what had happened but when he left he said "what ever I didn't see, it doesn't happen again!"

My story would be I went to a car meet. . And we all trampled off to a secluded industrial estate. Some drifting may have happened. Not in my 95 corolla hatchback might I say. We happened to hear the fuzz were on the way so everyone bounced. . . I get stopped by a member of the fine Gardi. . . Who then very confidently said I was drifting. . . As a 19 year old pup I staired him bang in in eyes and said. . . It's front wheel drive mate. . . . Nough said 🤣

I once raced a unmarked police car in my xr3i 😂🤦‍♀️ with the other half in the car. Lucky for me he liked the car and let me off, but 100% he was edging forward at the lights so I gave it the beans🤦‍♀️😭 he was a great guy guy tbh 🤘

I went to the illegal drag racing once in my mk1 gti. While we were watching the racing, the cops showed up and i hopped into my car and left. As we driving to the next scene, I was cruising and not even speeding. Passed a car without indicating, jumps a stop but doing all this while not speeding at all. Eventually there was a car on my bumper with his brights on and I decided to drop a gear and go. I pulled away from that car like it was standing still and he could not keep up. The car kept on following me and then I decided to pull up into a Shell as I was now very confused. As I pull up and the filling stations lights shine on the cars, in big bold colours "Police". It was a mk6 gti cop car which we call the flying squad. The cop gets out and tells me to get out. He says in Afrikaans "dice as jy vil dice. Ry vinnig as jy Wil vinnig Ry maar moet net nie kak Ry nie". I nearly shat myself when he asked me to open the bonnet to check the engine. Eventually he pulls out a book and pen and he asks me what mods I have as he is building a mk1 golf but he wants it to pull as hard as mine😂😂😂😂😂😂 I walked away from that 1 without a fine or jail time. Lol

Tbf it is a natural reaction to run same way you feel nervous at an airport walking through security

I have 3 points on my licence. So, we drive on the right, of course. I was driving on a three lane highway, that is officially not a highway (like, there is no side guardrail to stop animals to get on the road, or something). So I was in the far right lane, driving faster then the cars in the other two lanes (why where they in those lanes, I don't know). Driving on to the overpass, and as soon as the road started to point down again, what I saw was kilometers ahead of light traffic, and all of the cars around me braking. And since when I drive, I concentrate on what is on the road, not what is beside it, I did not see the police with a radar on the right side of the highway at the rest stop. And my narutal reaction was to indicate left, and start overtaking the cars that where braking for no reason (there where no cars infront that where close), and got pulled over in the far left lane by a cop that had walked out in the middle of the highway (which is "not a highway") to stop me. They cought me doing 124 km/h in a 80 km/h zone (I legit had no idea what the speed limit was there, since it was my first time driving there, and the navigation did not knew either). It is just 4 km/h above the limit where you start getting points and driving ban, so I was not happy. Although, since the cop did not tell me anything, just started writing me a ticket, I was shitting my pants thinking, what if I was doing 140 in a 60 zone or something. They would just take me away right there on the spot. So when he finaly told me, I was like oh good, not great not terrible. And for months I was angry. I felt like I was punished for reading a book in a library (driving 124 km/h on a highway, that is what it is for!). And Ive been hating speed limits and cops ever sice.

I used to pick up cars where a space was free opposite so i just lifted and walked forward to next space just so people got confused. I stopped doing it as one day i thought i could do it with a Reliant Robin but after lifting I found that A. Robins are quite heavy due to being rear wheel drive and B. Despite looking a bit like a wheelbarrow you cannot move them like one, i slipped with one hand and it rolled over. I had to persuade some mates to help me pick it back up.
