AD by any chance you are reading this. Have a great retirement and thank you for what you have done for this franchise for 10 years and the city of LA for 7. You made football fun for me to watch and til this day, the only rams jersey I own. Thank you man. I hope to meet you one day. You are the greatest of all time. Love you 99

I'm not a Rams fan but I recognize that this guy is one of the best DTs in the NFL, he is a true GOAT

Really a fantastic interview. Wifey may have a career in this field. She was the perfect person to conduct this interview. I’ve never seen AD speak so much. He is the GOAT for me. He has always been such a passionate player and it shows in how passionate he is about everything. That’s one of the things that made him so great. Aaron Donald tearing up made me bawl! The best are ruled by their passion and emotion. Emotion rules everything. And when she whispered, “it’s ok…” and then when she joked with him, “do you wanna come sit in my lap?” Yeah. That’s the love of your life. Perfectly done. She knows him completely and helped him get through this. I appreciate her a ton and I am so in awe of this man. The best career I’ve seen in my NFL watching life. I am so happy to be a life-long Rams fan and I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to watch and marvel at the career of AD99. Aaron retiring is akin to Kobe retiring for me. And that’s saying everything as related to my sports fandom. Aaron Donald is my favorite NFL player of all time. I will miss him. Rams fans will miss him so damn much. Thank you, AD. Thank you for allowing us to witness and cheer your greatness. You are as coach said, “…one of one.”

No BS.. I named my first born son after you. Aaron Amado Luna. You played the right way and was old school about it. You were drafted by my favorite team and brought that franchise back to glory. I’m so happy for your retirement and I can’t wait to show my son your highlights when he gets his helmet fitted. You deserve every award and from the Luna family, we can’t wait to support you and your family on your next endeavors. Thank you! Forever AD99

What a solid dude and family man. Been a Rams fan my entire life. All the way back to Deacon Jones. Bought my first “new logo” jersey at training camp. Yep 99. It was an honor and pleasure to watch you dominate at your craft. Be ready once December rolls around. In case that spark comes back as we are gearing up for another playoff run!! Thanks for the memories and all you did for us fans.

Thing about AD is yea he’s a hall of famer and a Super Bowl champion and he deserved Super Bowl mvp but anyways. Outside of all that he’s a stand up guy, takes care of his wife and kid, and you never ever heard any controversy about him in or out the locker room. Class act
  • @ChristxMinded247
As a 49er Fan, I have to admit this is one of the toughest DT we ever had to face year in and year out. My dad is also from Pittsburgh, and I have nothing but respect for what you did Aaron. God bless you and your fam in your retirement.

Smart to be interviewed by his wife
  • @jarod133
Man.. This was a beautiful thing!! Even more Dope that he did this with his wife. We just witnessed a legend say good bye his way. This man will ride off in the sunset, we probably won’t hear from him publicly again! Salute 🫡 #99

As a Rams fan from New Mexico, I've met five other Rams fans in 31 years of life and we always somehow ended up talking about you. I appreciate you and everything you did for the team. As Rams fans we wish you the best in your next journey.
