I was there on my 21st bday. My mom drove me there. Me and my mom had such a great time. Now she’s gone and I’ll always think of my mom when I hear this.

I used to play bass in a band with Mark when he was 17-18 years old. We played hardcore metal, Mark would sing but also scream and growl. When the band broke up, he told me he was heading to California to become famous. Years later I saw him on the Grammy's. He had done what he set out to do.

Letterman always allowed his music guests to really shine more than the other nighttime talk shows. He was a real fan of music and not just of “his”generation boomer acts. Dave understood new music. I miss him on tv.

I love the conscious choices in this song like the crack of the voice with certain words showing the kid is still going through puberty and the whistle to show the ominous sort of joyful and satisfied feeling he has walking through the hallway.

I'm 65 and I love this song and I love lynnrd Skynyrd tunes too cuz I grew up in the '70's but I listen to all genres cuz I love music..never judge a book by its appearance 👍💯

Mark always puts energy on the stage at all times no matter how dead the audience are .

The best part about this performance is 7:10 when he puts down the cowbell. Hey look....live mics and real music! It's awesome. Hearing a flaw or two in a live performance is great to know they are actually creating the sound we are hearing.

Definitely some of the best LIVE performers to come out in a looooong time!! What a great stage show. You can really tell how much the lead singer has put into this act!
