Love the steep decline from "Yeah, I'm really up for this! :D" to Tony standing there in the old cold piss, hardly moving, and losing the will to live. ๐ Gotta love that he gives everything a go.

This video is really interesting and I enjoyed learning all of this, but the sound mixing is really off and at times makes it hard to understand what's going on.

After watching several of these, I believe that Tony Robinson must be one of the bravest and boldest men in modern times!! I love these programs...they're the best!

I recall watching the entire series, with my daughter, of this when it first appeared. Had a good laugh then & now. Another show that quickly takes the 'romantic' quality out of the era. I will say that Tony must have a pretty strong stomach, because some of the stuff is just down right stomach turning.

I would love to be able to go back in history (and be invisible) and see not only the real history, but to also see how close we have been to knowing the truth about the different eras.
