  • 2 black holes and a white hole in the middle and that's how you make a cosmic oreo.

How crazy would it be if a white hole was just the exit of a blackhole from another part of our universe, or even another universe altogether?
  • I just need to let you know what a treasure your videos have been for me homeschooling my little (very) advanced learner. He's 5 and VERY sensitive so I especially appreciate the lack of gratuitous violent/disturbing visuals and descriptions when handling something like talking about what it would be like to go into a black hole (EVERYONE else would be sure to talk about being spaghettified and/or ripped apart). You let the amazing facts speak for themselves without over sensationalizing. I also love that you highlight what we don't know and the fascinating questions we still have to answer! Bravo, dear sir! My son has even picked up on some of your mannerisms and enthusiasm when he's doing his own experiments, which is adorable! Your influence is completely welcome in my home (and I have very high standards for what I let influence him)!

Great ending to the video. Describing that white holes are theoretical only, gave credence to the video. I was waiting through the entire video for you to bring up this point. You never disappoint. All of your videos are appreciated.

other people: puts on scary music while explaining black holes this guy: plays sad piano music

"What happens when black hole and white holes collide?" My last 1 braincell: it becomes a grey hole.
  • @moealtwil7833
What if a white hole is just the otherside of a black hole. The black hole takes in light and in another part of space the white spews it out.
  • @damienda711
Interesting I never knew what would happen thank you for the information! :)
  • @aky9309
They're actually very similar, they're just the complete opposite.
  • @warp7.852
This man gave me a 'hole' lot of new, excellent explanation here!😁👍

If a black hole and a white hole had the same mass and tried to collide each other, they will not get collided. My theory representing this is that the white hole keeps spewing out space time and the black hole absorbs it. Using the exiting space time and energy, the black hole gets bigger and swallows the white hole.

For those wondering, the jets coming from a black hole are not actually coming from inside it. They are just matter from the accretion disk that has been slingshotted away by approaching very close to the black hole.
  • I love how he just casually has two ping pong balls, one painted blackest black and the other whitest white. Perfect for explaining black and white holes. No CGI needed
