  • For anyone visiting the Welsh capital city of Cardiff, this video will guide you to what to see and what to do. Any questions, write them in a separate comment and I'll try and answer them. 👍
  • Nice video, beautiful places of Cardiff City, excellent, super like, new friend, wonderful sharing my friend 👍👍

It’s a very remarkable city. You missed mentioning the people who are living in Cardiff “simply they’re beautiful people”. I recently moved to Cardiff after living in England for about 3 years, and the most noticeable thing about Wales is the Welsh people. They warmed my heart.
  • I really wish they’d kept the Dr Who experience, it was a great exhibition, fans from all over the world visited, and as a result discovered the rest of Cardiff.
  • My descendants migrated from Wales to America a couple hundred years ago and I’ve always had an interest in knowing more about where I originated from. Thanks for making this great video. ✊🏻
  • Great video, living in Cardiff I tend to take what we have for granted. It's nice to hear nice comments from visitors. Other great places to visit if you have time is Llandaff Cathedral and St Fagans museum, both outstanding attractions.
  • The Norwegian Church was originally built for Norwegian sailors - the port had a busy trade importing Norwegian timber for pit props in the coal mines. The church was originally in a slightly different location, but was re-sited and extended when the Bay was developed.

As a local artist I thought I'd share some music stuff, if you're into indie grassroots music venues there is a street called Womanby Street where you'll find venues like Clwb Ifor Bach (everyone from Coldplay to Skrillex have played this venue before getting known). On this same street are The Moon and Fuel (slightly heavier venues) and if you're into jazz & blues then bootlegger is your place. You'll also find live music sometimes upstairs at Tiny Rebel which is a microbrewery. Then slightly outside of the main town is Tramshed a larger venue. Hope this helps any music fans out there looking for a club night or some live bands. Also if you're visiting and want to get a gift for someone that's arty and supports local talent then Cardiff Creative Shop in queens arcade, it's all independent so you're supporting local businesses/artists.
  • Used to live in Caerphilly. Took the castle for granted. I remember sitting on the stone wall with a Greggs I got just down the road with the smell of the market while watching the fireworks. They did great displays.

You need to come back and visit St Fagans, the national museum, llandaff cathedral/Bishops palace, Roath Park etc, there's lots more to do in cardiff but sometimes it can be overlooked because the castle and the bay are always the main focus. Caerphilly Castle and Castell Coch are beautiful. I'm glad you took the time to visit them 😊
  • Enjoyed this video Ninh, have myself visited Cardiff a few years ago and done most of what is featured in the video. Spent a few days in Wales and will admit Cardiff is one of my favourite British cities. The Cardiff Bay part brought back some good memories although when I visited the weather were significantly better. And yes the Millennium Stadium tour is worth every penny, when it comes to rugby I'm a France fan but boy the Welsh team surely has a nice home ground, in fact the whole city is rugby mad. Unfortunately didn't get the chance to do the Cardiff City FC stadium tour, but next time it's a must.
  • Spectacular city having nice infrastructure, shops, restaurants, museums, garden etc. Most attractive & worth seeing city
  • I've been looking for a video like this for ages! Moved about 20 minutes outside Cardiff in the summer and I've only really visited the shopping centre and the Bay. This is going to revolutionise my weekend when the weather perks up :)
  • @Foebane72
I was born in Cardiff, so I'm chuffed at this video! I'm also considering visiting a few places here, that I haven't seen for years or never before.

By far my biggest hack when going to cardiff is catching the aquabus. It runs every hour on the hour from Bute Park (by the entertance to the park, close to the rugby stadium) to Cardiff Bay. (Half past the hour in the returning direction). Costs £6 per person each way (£3 children) and you essentially get transport and an attraction in one.
  • @garybrush
Thanks for such marvellous video! Cardiff is a great city!
  • Excellent video! I'm from the coast, about 20 miles west of Cardiff, and have grown up visiting the city regularly. This is probably the best guide to visiting the city I've seen. Da iawn.
