The idea of Hornet having survivor's guilt after the Knight's passing is actually really interesting, I hope they somehow incorporate that into some of Silksong's story

I love the representation of Hornets relationships with several people including her mother (and her “step mother”)

Everybody here talking about how sad the animation is and about the voice actors but I'm appreciating how this person drew Hornet's hair, like how her hair is up until Hornet has finally had enough of the White Lady and snaps after she doesn't accept the blame for what happened to the Knight and taking off what was keeping her hair up. Like. Wow. Really good designs in this.

So are we gonna talk about how this is still fucking fire even compared to her new stuff?

1:42 just gonna point out the fact that Hornet has a cut on her cheek and at the end you can see a glowing thread. She stitched it herself, thats such a cool detail

Oh god, that shot of the crying Shade strangling Ghost? “You choked him out of his goddamn mind” and the connection with “No mind to think” despite that Ghost is so obviously hurting? The implication of the White Lady being the one to encourage the Pale King? And those shots of Herrah comforting her daughter one last time, Hornet with Herrah sleeping, and then Hornet and Ghost talking after Herrah is gone and THEN HORNET CRYING AT THE ALTAR WITHOUT GHOST? Oh god, oh fuck, how are you so good at portraying her anger and regret and pain, oh fuck, my heart hurts, oh no.....

DUDE YOU’RE SO GOOD AT ANGLES AND EMOTIONS

I'm not even in the Hollow Knight fandom and I still fell in love with this Edit : I'm not surprised that people want to play Hollow Knight from just watching this lmfao

Playing this at a slower speed and seeing each panel, it really gives you a better idea of the story. Seeing the pain, anger and regret Hornet is going through, her wanting- needing- for her family to be any type of normal again comes out so much clearer. And you can just see how manipulative, yet caring and regretful the White Lady is for everything that has happened... she just wants Hornet to be happy, yet it seems her words are only widening the barrier between them... She can never replace or lessen the love for Herrah and Ghost in Hornet's heart. At least that's what I've noticed.
