i'm really glad that you brought up that players of both games shouldn't want the other to "die", since the competition causes both games to try to be better, great video

I switched to Valorant when CS2 released. I'm actually having a good time and didn't expect the cartoon shooter to have such a high skill ceiling and 900 IQ strats.
  • @sskuk1095
The point you made that both games need each other to improve and not get lazy is soooo inportant!
  • @WolvenUA
getting a full inventory of nice skins for $20 vs $200 is still significant to me . plus i feel like the community aspect of cs skins and maps is much more interesting than everything being dev made. played both for 1000+ hours but i gotta say i prefer cs heavily rn

3:22 it's not about knowing how to throw the util, it's about being able to. In CS, you need to learn how to throw it properly, but you always CAN do it. In Valorant, you also need to learn how to throw it properly, but depending on the agent you choose, you simply can't. That's why it's a massive W for CS, in CS everyone can do the same things, and it's just a matter of which team plays better. 5:02 not entirely true. Valorant offers 128 tick servers at most, but the tick rate varies in the middle of a game because they're running several matches in a single CPU core and it depends on how much there is to process on the other 2, so during a match you may experience 128 ticks, 64 ticks, and everything in between and below that. Is that good, is that bad... I don't know, to be completely honest I've found the tick rate argument stupid for the longest time, it's only an actual variable for your performance once you reach very high levels of skill, and most of the people complaining about it aren't even close to that level yet. I'm not saying CS shouldn't have had 128 ticks in MM, or that 128 is worse, just saying that most of the people who say they're bad because of the 64 ticks are just capping. 9:04 same. Loot boxes suck. Valve could at least do something to mitigate the damage. Add KYC measures, not letting minors open cases, limiting the amount of money you can spend on them... Anything would be better than having total freedom. But leaving moral issues aside, I still prefer CS's skins, simply because they don't look as distracting as Valorant's. There have been times where I've picked a weapon from the ground and I was totally unaware of what the fuck I had picked, tried to spray and turned out to be a Guardian, thought I had a Phantom and it was a Spectre, went to change my Ghost for a Sheriff and turned out to be an excessively fancy Classic. In CS you always immediately know which weapon you're looking at regardless of the skin. Not only that, but the last kill animations in Valorant can also be hella annoying, god forbid I can ever search for a weapon on the ground without lights and shit flashing in front of me. Good video, but worth saying that even after the full release CS2 is not complete. It's more of an actually open beta than a full release. It's a mistake on Valve's part, they shouldn't have done what they've done and lots of people are mad at them for this. I get that they want everyone and their mother to test the game and report bugs, but if they had to delay the release they should have just said it.

1 crucial thing u missed in this comparison is community made content, cs are known for its custom game mode that was made by its community, heck even the maps today are 90% made by community in the past, that goes for weapon skins, it maybe sound lazy for valve, but it is kinda nice to know your artwork is acknowledged by developers (and appreciated by valve with hefty amount of money as i've heard)

9:35 "People who see them as anything else need their priorities changed." Why? I love trading, selling, collecting and investing in skins. I love using them in game and discussing them with other people. I spend a lot of time looking for deals on 3rd party sites. So many people enjoy them and if you play the game for thousands of hours you get to use them every day. Just because you don't like them doesn't mean everyone who does is a degenerate who needs to touch grass.

for me as a viewer. valorant to me isnt as interesting to watch. mainly because it seems more like its focused on the characters and their powers/ults vs actual gun play. its like watching superheros fight each other and the guns are their secondary weapons...... i like how simple cs is. its all about the gunplay. u got throwables but they dont seem nearly as primary valorant powers....like not only does the viewer need map knowledge, but they also need to remember what each character can do....
  • @OGHampter2
I like CS2 but I hope more comes. As a casual player it feels like we just got a graphics mod lol
  • @sxschaa
No way he gave val the point for skins. Cs has floats, statrack, the iconic no star karambit, the iconic howl M4A4, trading, good skins for under a dollar, stickers for some cents, sprays. The only reason you gave valo the point is bc of the cases in cs? You gave valo the point not bc they have something good abt their skins but bc cs has one "bad" thing. And in cs you have the opportunity to pay 15€ and then get 2 skins every week for free, which you also could sell or use. And these skins could grt up to 150€. So i dont really get why you gave val the point
  • @sonalex137
Bro complain abt gambling all you want but the steam market solves all your complaints you pulled an oxymoron with ur skins take. No one is forcing anybody to open creates and if you want skins theres plenty budget optionson the market, while riot games chraging 120 for radiant bundles with no return value
  • @Dr4cule
I literally thought you had 3.83 million subs at the first glance then I watched the whole vid and went to watch more of your vid then I noticed it had the "k" lol tbh your narration was really good keep it up and remember me when you get to 3.8 m subs :) .
  • @drangstveitmark
yes in cs2 running and then being shot while completely behind a wall is great! gotta love that subtick lol. still a cool video! i tried to play valorant, but it wouldnt let me, some weird setting in my pc. tried to uninstal game and anti cheat... both wont uninstall. rip. so i wont be playing Val anytime soon
  • @magicsamy
I find strange is that he talks about skins like there's no way to avoid this, I personally got my skins with left out money I had from buying in-game content for other games like Don't Starve Together skins or other cosmetics that I usually get to support smaller devs for example. I would say I'm not big into skin culture either and don't really understand the hype. I don't have any skins in Valorant as I find them too expensive, however my most expensive skin in CS is probably like 20 cents, I don't have any gloves or knife skins and I'm perfectly fine with that but I like looking at other people's skins. I also have opened probably 2 cases in my entire life on the other hand I have friends that like to open one case a week or other friends that don't even play the game that just like trading skins. I also have friends who simply sell their cases or give them away because they don't care for opening them. It's the same thing with gatcha games, I have played a lot in the past and almost never spend any money, I like saving up to buy what I want with what the game gives me and researching to make an informed decision on whether or not I want a character or how having them would benefit me, but I know people that just like to roll for every character and I think that's fine, it all comes down to personal preference as long as it doesn't affect your life but if it does then you have bigger problems to worry about a game...
  • @kream_8127
Honestly, even though I play Valorant rn, My first FPS game is CSGO, and I love both Valorant and CS. And I adore both games as both have their own special perks.
  • @m1st87
The concept of having agents specialized in certain things is what turns me off of valorant. Some abilities seem downright unfair to me. Making a perfect execute? You just got flashed through a wall. Holding the perfect angle? Some randome dude just tp'd behind you and knifed you. Entering a site? You got shot from a spot you can't get to unless you have a certain ability. Peeked an angle and backed out? You just got ulted through the wall. You successfully lurked the entire map undetected? Some agent with a hat now knows exactly where you are. Its bs because you can't do anything about it. I feel like in cs, if you get killed, 90% of the time you were the one at fault, or the remaining 10% the other guy is just better. But if you do everything right and the guy in the opposing just has wallhacks because its his ability, you have to suck it up.
  • @KuroNewbie
you didnt mention that you cant even do ranked in csgo without paying the 20dollar account upgrade fee
