Unsettled: "Who even fights Killerwatts with a crossbow, lol." Me: "Haha, yeah." discreetly banks bone crossbow

I actually think gnome agility being level 1 is great. When I was a young noob I remember finally becoming a member and wanting to train agility, and realizing I was going to have to explore the majority of the members map to get to gnome stronghold to "unlock" agility. It felt like agility was the reward for discovering the gnome lands. You're so tempted to get it because you see this shortcuts all over the map, but it isn't just given to you, you have to go discover it. Maybe in 2024 noone plays F2P though and won't have this same experience of exploring members, but still.

One minor detail that made me smile: They proposed changing the timer on clue drops so they can last an hour on the ground. The only thing I can think of when reading that is Swampletics juggling clue steps.

Its really refreshing to see a hardcore player like yourself support these QoL changes. A lot of the downfall of the RS community is "I had to suffer, so you do too." Keep up the good work.

You didn't even mention that Marks of Grace will now be given at ALL AGILITY COURSES!
  • @knoxville542
I'd be down for more of this type of content. Nice to hear your perspective on it
  • @iambeastlee
there is a spot in there that mentions them adding marks to penguin, barbarian, shayzien, ape atoll, wilderness, and werewolf courses, so some of those exp changes might also be changed to reflect that as well im guessing
  • @orka5352
I like this analytical and rambling type content, thank you

I personally think EVERY slayer monster should have a unique drop, whether cosmetic or functional. Like Infernal mages could drop mystic ornament kits to recolor mystic to the same dark shade the infernal mages have. Cockatrice could drop a limpwurt sack (holds 28 limpwurts). Would be interesting to see accounts grind out semi-rare drops from normally dead content.

This is now the only way I want to ingest these posts please

I definitely agree with the: Make Slayer on low level mobs more interesting, rather than removing them. Sure the low level monsters are not that interesting... So, make them more interesting, please? As someone who only recently-ish started playing OSRS, Slayer in the early game was actually really neat to get out and see the world, figure out where all the places are where the monsters live. Which actually gives me an idea: Implement a checklist/log for the low level slayer monsters, that indicate where you have completed a Slayer Task. Once you complete all locations for a particular monster, you get a satisfying little green checkmark, and maybe some extra slayer points to work with. This would encourage variety of locations, and scratch that completionist-itch at the same time
  • When will Jagex have the courage to continue the Dwarf Cannon questline and give us the Dwarf Railgun?
  • As a new player this kind of content being discussed so I can actually understand large changes to the game from a more experienced standpoint is seriously helpful. I would love to see more of these
  • I would sit a whole summer in my local library playing runescape (yes kids, we did not have a home computer at that time). It took me forever to find gnome agility course to finally train it, and OMG what a feeling when I got there.

I think it’s really cool that you’re dipping into this kind of content. I honestly have been looking for someone to break down the weekly updates and cool important news things for a while! This is really cool to hear and it’s really cool to hear coming from you. Thank you!
  • Man, you're such a good advocator for the game, for old players and new. Content that makes others want to play/keep playing the game is such a good quality to have as a content creator
