  • My brother passed away and we used to play Zelda together. This makes me feel close to him. Thanks for the warmth

When you're a kid, you don't realize how much the music influences the experience of the game, and then you hear this years later and the nostalgia sets in, and then you truly appreciate the genius of Nintendo. Edit: I mean Koji Kondo

This is just an absolute masterpiece. This brought tears to my eyes because the legend of Zelda series was an escape for me from an abusive childhood and abusive father. So I always found peace and comfort in the music. Now fast forward and being a father of my own, I was playing this video and my daughters came and sat with me and asked what song is this from because it sounds peaceful and it just made me tear up because I’m now getting to share one of the best things of my childhood with my own children.

I keep a record on how fast time goes by, by how often I keep coming back to hear this master piece!. Two years now....wow.
  • Thank you for this, my grandma just passed away today and hearing this teleport my soul when I used to play this game at my grandma's house when she was cooking meal, the sounds and the smells from the past invades me right now, it is a beautiful thing to remember her this way, when she recognized me, damn alzheimer.

I know a lot people like Gerudo Valley but Zora’s Domain just hits different for me. 20:16 is simply beautiful.
  • @DGR_Dave
Absolutely incredible from start to finish
  • @Al-fo2bs
Anyone remember going to Gerudo Valley just to hear the music?
  • @chillisthx
Still having goosebumps 20+ years later. Kotake and Koume is one of many examples of the quality of this soundtrack. It really sounds like two relatives speaking to each other.
  • @ivanThaOoze

  • @HumanoidMachine
Koji kondo wasn't kidding when he said he was influenced by Spanish and Mediterranean music on this soundtrack. You can really hear it here.
  • @Frankum4II
