INTRO:
The Static Speaks My Name is a free to play game released on August 10, 2015. The about section on Steam reads, "A dark/sad/weird/funny first person exploration game. You play a man on his last night alive as he obsesses over a mysterious painting." I personally fail to see the funny, but, yknow, to each their own. The game has an estimated run time of about 10 minutes, along with very positive reviews.

As someone with OCD, this video (and game) sure was... interesting. Few bits hit close to home, and the final message at the end was beautiful. Seriously, how come it took 2 years for me to come across this? It's well done! Defo underrated.

Your videos are so well done, I hope you get the recognition you deserve.
  • “hard to tell what’s real"is when someone has depression for so long and battling it. their slowly giving up battling and it drives them crazy

please consider playing Wertpol’s games like presentable Liberty and the saga behind that. you would love that series if you love looking into things. It’s such a wonderful game and you would give wertpol justice.

3:34 "I feel | I don't think I've ever been | hard to tell what's real" ever is the question mark you missed 6:10 Or it could be more merciful to end it for him, seeing as he's been stuck so long, physically and mentally scarred, and then he's let loose into a house with his dead captor, some shrimp, and barred doors and windows. People know he's missing, but how long has he been missing? Will they think he's dead?

I dont think ive come across a 'Lets Player' that put some much thoughtfulness into their gameplay...much less the subject mayter itself. To sit there and describe every scene, visual, and interaction in such detail for those hard of vision or completely blind....ive literally never come across that personally. That says so much about you as a person. I don't think thats something the vast majority of creators on this platform have ever considered.
  • Btw I can actually say depression does make it hard to keep your life in tact when I was suffering with it I found it hard to do basic shit?
  • @CLWC
I think you should play omori
