  • As a nurse both siblings seem mentally unstable and the adult services should have stepped in .
  • I’m surprised these siblings were found to be competent to stand trial. Neither one seems alert
  • This woman needed ongoing professional medical care, not untrained family. The visiting nurse should've known that.😢

These sibs don’t appear to be able to care for themselves. How did they end up caring for their mother? How did it get this far with no one seriously checking on this woman. This is hideous.
  • They don’t want to blame the health professionals that should have noticed the care this woman needed!
  • @Indiartworks
I cannot even imagine the pain, horror, humiliation, suffering, and absolutely devastation this poor Mother went through before her death.
  • What I find hard to believe is that there were Nurse Practicioners that came to the house to tend to this poor woman. How could this abuse be overlooked? This is outrageous!!!!- Both of these individuals do not seem to be fully alert.

Really interested in the back story of this family and why they were so isolated from others. I have a feeling with this level of dysfunction there is a generational story of neglect and trauma. This poor woman. Unimaginable.

The son and daughter look like they can't even take care of themselves, the state should be sued for putting the mother in their custody if you ask me 🤦🏾‍♀️
  • @SURN2012
The male defendant definitely look as if he is develomentally delayed. The female defendant does look as if she also has some developmenat issues. Lord have mercy. Both look as if they too need care.
  • This is awful but her kids don’t seem to be all there in the head. I wish they would show the entire trial. I hate watching only bits & pieces cause we don’t get the full picture
  • @redmoss24
Social and medical services failed this patient and family. This patient should have never been left in the care of these people.
  • I'm not excusing what they did, but whoever thought those two were capable of taking care of an extremely ill and vulnerable person is responsible too. I feel the siblings knew right from wrong, but they're in their 40s and appear to barely be able to care for themselves, like they have developmental disabilities or something. They should not have been in charge of their mother's care. The sister saying the house was always filthy should have been enough to put the mother in care or remove the siblings from the home.
  • I can't believe they're 43 & 49 years old. They sure don't look it This case is sad all the way around😢

    1. Have the defendants' cognitive abilities been assessed? 2. Did they ever have visitors in the home? This is heartbreaking!
  • @vm1ccc
Its bad when you have a Dr crying on the stand. That poor woman
  • A mother can take care of her husband and 3 kids but not one can take care of her sadness
