OOPArt actually stands for "Out Of Place Artifact" which is a real archeological term for items discovered in locations or strata that defy explanation. (Ex: Egyptian hieroglyphics carved into a rock in Australia, a gold necklace encased in a coal deposit, etc). These usually turn out to be hoaxes, misidentified natural objects, or have some other plausible explanation.

Man, I honestly feel bad for the creator of the original manga at this point. He probably dreamed of having his manga be turned into an anime, and it ultimately turned into this.

"People die when they are killed" makes sense because it's said by a character who's giving up immortality, thus making it so he'll die when he is killed, just like everyone else.

I like to imagine an alternate universe where Ex-Arm is the greatest anime ever created and Charlie is talking about how good it is unironically.

Ex-Arm has got to be one of the anime of all time. In fact, it was arguably one of the anime that was released in the past couple of years. The story and art direction are certainly done to a degree, and theres no doubt that the animators animated it.

I just cant fathom why in the hell they would do 90% 3D animation, but make the villain completely 2D. Not a shred of consistency exists in this mess

I remember seeing this and it looked terrible. Took a look at the manga afterwards, art looked incredibly top tier. I feel bad for the artist and author for having their work deformed like this.

This is the prime example of what happens when a team has 0 respect for the medium they are working for. I just love that they will forever be known as the creators of this masterpiece, its the scar they deserve

I love the thought of Charlie settling in, watching this thing, then crawling into bed and turning everything off... then just hours of restlessness, utterly robbed of the sleep he would have had, forcing him to get back up and feverishly cobble together this video, like someone in a horror movie desperately doing the zany ritual required to break a very specific curse.
