As a European, OGX is already on the more expensive side for shampoo/conditioner for drugstore products. Not all stores carry this brand

I would love to be able to afford to use professional products, but my monthly budget is $15 for my hair. I get it cut for $20 every 3 months. I know I’m not the only one out there who is doing what they can with what they’ve got. 🤷🏼‍♀️
  • @miyounova
I won't be able to afford the professional products but at least, seeing the striking difference this way, means I will stop trying to buy non-professional products hoping to get great results, so I will save money and time! Thank you for that 😊
  • This video has truly made the most difference for my hair! I never believed the hype and didn’t feel like I could afford professional products. But this video made me decide to give it a try and it has honestly made so much difference over the past few weeks. It felt like a splurge for me, but now that my hair is looking healthier I need to wash my hair less often so it most likely won’t cost as much as in the long rum as I initially thought. If you’re like me and are constantly buying new products at CVS, go ahead and follow his recommendations and spend that money on good products instead. Thank you for this video, love your channel!

"I use Pantene not OGX" 😂😂 thank you for your advices and showing us on camera the differences! ✨

I'm usually very sceptical about hair products, as my thick, curly and frizzy hair is as rebellious as they get and nothing ever seemed to work. However, Chris's advice to use professional products, including a leave-in conditioner and protectant has been a complete game-changer for me. I never realised how much of a difference this switch would make, and although the professional alternatives are far costlier than their drugstore counterparts, as Chris pointed out in another video, we're making an investment in our health - after all, hair is part of the body, and for women in particular, we'd like it to be our crowning glory and not something we want to hide under a hat! Thanks Chris for your valuable recommendations! 💁🏻‍♀️

How come you don't have millions of subscribers already??!! I love your channel, your charisma, advice, and the simple yet well detailed explanation for each product/steps. Love it!! 💕💕
  • so glad i found your channel. i learned that my fine(ish) oily hair needs professional volume shampoo. for some reason ive never really cared about volume (idk if growing up in the early 2000s with overly flat ironed, stick straight hair had a lasting effect on me lol) so volume wasnt on my radar. regardless of whether i wanted volume or not, this shampoo has been a game changer for me. my otherwise oil greasy hair now feels so light and soft and looks fabulous. i wont, but i could smooch that buzzed head of yours chris !!!!! 😭

Thank you for the comparison, but you are comparing two different products. I found the Argan Oil of Morocco is for hydration while the Redken is for fine / medium hair that needs volume 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • Absolutely love your advice! My fine ,frizzy, curly hair is now soft, shiny and manageable for at least 3-4 days. I got the Redken Frizz Dismiss leave in cream and the Pureology heat protector. I had the Revlon styling blow dry brush but never used it as I felt it dried out my hair too much. After watching your video on using it, it’s been a game changer! I now blow dry from both sides on “low” until my hair starts to feel hot..then I stop and move on to another section. Great tip! Now if you can do something about the 90degree humidity here in Southwest FL I’d be forever grateful 😍

I used to be very sceptical about spending more on hair products but previously had dry frizzy hair and couldn’t go beyond 2/3 days without re-washing. I’ve now been using professional products for about a year and I completely see their worth now: 1. My hair can now go about 5 days in between washes and it looks fine 2. I actually use less product with the professional stuff and as I’m not washing my hair as much I don’t think the cost difference is as much a it may seem, it’s just more expensive in one purchase 3. My hair is so so much softer and no way near as frizzy. It also holds styles a lot better

SUCH AN AMAZING IMPROVEMENT in lighting and filming your video! 🤩 it’s not the reason why we follow you but it feels so good watching you growing so fast 💕
  • @joanna675
I love it how you always find a way to educate us in such a hilarious and entertaining way 😁 I've discovered your channel only recently and got completely hooked on it. I appreciate it that your videos are so clear and informative. Great job!

Oh, what really makes a difference is your videos, Chris! Thank you for your recommendations! They have changed my wash and styling routines dramatically - less flyaways, less time on styling that lasts much longer (3-4! days instead of 1!!!) Love Redken products hope it won’t change at least in 5 months.
  • This is one of my favorite videos you have provided, it really highlights the important products and lines them up in a way that makes sense. Thank you again!

LOVE THE PRODUCT DEMOS!! So glad to have found your channel! and thank you THANK YOU thank you for showing us the products you recommend in action.
  • Another awesome video from the Hair Whisperer! Your videos are a game changer. Since I switched to the products you mentioned in all your videos, my hair has never felt softer and looked healthier!
  • @TipToeZebra
The difference is crazy! I've been really upset with my hair the last 5/6 years. I thought it had more damage then it should. I only used drug store products but was very gentle with my hair. I ended up buying a clarifying shampoo and started fresh with Its a 10. It's like I have different hair. Pretty much instantaneously I had incredibly healthy looking hair. I can't go back to drugstore. I am sold!
  • Hey Professor! I would highly suggest checking out Native's products. I didn't have the money to try new shampoo and conditioner quite yet, but decided to try double washing with my Native brand ones anyway to see if there was a difference. There was! I managed to get the leave in conditioner and hair oil later on, and my hair still looks amazing after a week or so. Native seems like they could have a good thing going on and may be a cheaper alternative for those who can't afford.
