Honestly this is not a bad tactic on Colin's part. He's not being evil or vindictive or manipulative as the comments suggest. He's being honest. Instead of being nice (which hasn't worked) he is trying a different approach by being honest with how he feels. Granted the threats are a bit harsh, but Colin's ultimately trying to get Rachel back on her own terms and offering to teach her how to "pretend" to be nice. Rachel likes to manipulate others, so Colin could just be playing into her ideals so that she'll go along. He's appealing to her style, which could eventually lead to growth!

Eh compared to Brian and Davis who openly abused their animatronics Collin is still waaaaaaay on the side of ok, like, maybe he doesn't believe he's being genuine but effectively he's just being nice, It's not like he's tricking them into doing something unreasonable or making them FEEL dependent to him (even tho by being animatronics they are), If he was really evil and wanting to manipulate them he could just do what Florence did and used the shut down codes when they were trying to kill him and snip away at their memories until they were subservient to him. On the other hand this could be him acting for Rachels benefit: he knows she doesn't believe that people can be genuinely good without ulterior motives so Collin's acting the villain because she'll believe that before the notion of somebody just wanting to help her for no reason.

So now, the real question is, was Colin manipulating Rachel into being nice or was he being truthful?

I'm sorry but whenever I think of "I know what you are" I think of the homophobic dog meme and I actually can't stop giggling..

After Watching Thoughts •—•–—–•–—–•–—–•—• Colin is way more harsher than I though.. he’s like Elias in a way, except he takes advantage of the animatronics feelings or personalities just so they can do whatever he WANTS them to do rather than that. In summary, Colin is a manipulative murderer and that almost everything single character (Besides the Collab ones Maybe) are morally grey characters leaning a bit into the grey side of things

I mean, with the way the people in this series act, it's pretty much 'use or be used.' The only real victims would be Bee and Doug; the rest are either narcissistic or egotistical, including Colin. From what I see, manipulating them into not killing him is kinda his only option; the rest is just 'stonks' for him. I mean, who wouldn't want the help of some lowkey psychotic robots? Especially when there is a creepy lawyer stalking you for your sins in the past.

Colin seems to be speaking from experience here with manipulating people. It’s honestly concerning and maybe the gang at DnR’s needs to stop making him mad. Especially now that he has opened not only threatened, but promised to scrap Rachel? Colin is reaching the end of his patience.

Colin is slowly going to reveal his dark side when things doesn't go as well as what he wanted it to happen. Elias was right about giving animatronics' personality, some can be blind and deaf beings that doesn't see or hear what they did was wrong and the blame is on them. Might be a chance Colin will eventually choose to be harsh and bad if bad animatronics dare to wrong him.

Colin is starting to look a lot like Bryan after being revived. I know Colin isn't going to be messing with the portal because of a past post but he could still become a villain. Or he could grow connections with everyone and be a good guy.
