I love that Ren is so fucking dope he can throw straight Welsh into his lyrics and it’s just a part of the beat somehow. A really white boy from Britain spits some shit and a black dude in America felt some shit about it. THAT is what music is SUPPOSED to be about. FEELINGS. Music is in and of itself an expression of emotions. In its purest form. Ren has conquered that. He IS emotion and catharsis at the same time. You hear him and you feel shit, but when the song finishes, you feel better. In 3 fucking minutes. John Lennon/Tupac/Nas/Ren……… nuff said.

I watched a Ren interview where he described a time when he was suddenly overcome with pain while in the kitchen and fell to the floor in agony. It was so bad he disassociated & had a mental break where he became something/someone else for weeks. It was a hard interview to watch, he still lives that memory.

Ren give others hope by sharing his pain and showing us we can persevere to get to a better place. You're doing the same thing. Respect. I really think you would connect with Ren's songs Ready For You, and Heretic from 4 years ago.. Very different from the Sick Boi songs, but every bit as powerful. All the best!
