As a trans girl myself, i relate to EVERYTHING you said about being a side character before transition and then all of a sudden gaining (often unwanted) attention after transition. It really is a mindfuck experience and it can be overwhelming sometimes
  • It does not matter what you say Maya Henry, you are my number one!
  • Hey Maya , another excellent pod cast ,looking forward to your up coming interviews as the vibes with you and Lauren were so cool and refreshing. I hope you will rethink the idea of removing your lives which give so much pleasure and informed off the cuff wisdom. Those of us who miss the stories live due to time zones ,work or other issues still enjoy watching them when we can and often the likes are doubled by those of us who watch later , I was greatly involved with one of your stories but had to pause to answer my phone and when I came back it had vanished which was a real disappointment as the freshness of your lives is a great mood boost to those having a crappy day. Look after yourself and never forget the positive impact you have had on so many lives , mine included.

Lol, Nothing stays unhinged like him breaking his bedroom door off the hinges! What a big red flag deal breaker! 😬🥴🤣
  • Really identify with this narrative… I’m stunning and yet when you felt invisible for the first 18 years of your life it’s still confusing at times when you look in the mirror… just before transition I had a similar experience when I got high… I saw my face morph into my dads face then my grandfathers it was so disturbing… I’m now sober… thanks for sharing and speaking totally authentically… I transitioned 15 years ago but this is so helpful to realize I’m not alone… I also learned my low self esteem from my childhood was keeping me locked into a life I didn’t want and was causing me to attract the same men over and over again and I’ve since done extensive work to change that… let’s chat sometime!

OMG I LOVED this video so much!! I could also relate to everything you pointed out abt the trans identity issues. Especially the effects that drugs & co. could have on us. I also always feel super super weird when I dissociate from my 100% consciousness (being high or having a bad trip) I also always think that being trans comes up and all of our worries attached to this topic can be sometimes super hurtful and it causes us paranoia... at least, that's what I sometimes feel, same thoughts that you described and also the feeling of maybe failing or being clocked ... uhhh our brain can play us really bad under those circumstances. Also the topic about the shallowness of beauty is insane who much we as trans women suffer from it... I think all dolls deal with it in their life.. :S thank you so much for this video! I love your content, greetings from Germany!
  • ❤🎉 if I can achieve a 10th of your beauty I'll be happy with my transition 😢 You are valid babe 🎉❤ I came out to my kids family and friends 6 weeks ago . 😮 ya and I'm 46 years old with 2 sons . I feel like I'm being myself for the 1st time but also have doubt that I'll make it . But making the choice to come out and be yourself means you've made it . ❤🎉 Stunning darling I dream of being so beautiful ❤❤❤ 17:02

OMG!! I laughed so hard with "Don't interrupt me!" Clearly, he doesn't date much. 😂
  • Also, guys are super visual, so if you dress suggestively, you will tend to attract those only interested in your body. I know this is not a popular opinion, but it's really true. It's hard for guys to see your mind when something else is more visible. And if you wait for a looong time before getting deeper into the relationship, those who are in it for their own pleasure will not wait.

Speaking about not feeling a part of the scene where others are ok with being who they are and are accepted as such. I ,in high school was invisible-because that is how I was treated at a child. So I did not know I was pretty as a boy. No clue! When i moved away to Chicago, suddenly I was sought after so much-that really upset me b/c it did not fit with my own image, I still wrestle with that.

I really enjoyed your podcasts and had a great time watching your podcast with Lauren. I especially loved the part where you imitated Adele and spoke in a British accent. Love from Vancouver. <3
  • Hello Maya. Glad you’re feeling better. Summer colds are the worst. I’ve had 2-3 in my lifetime and I felt just plain awful. I see Elio is nearby. T has been hot here in the Carolinas too, but not quite to the extreme it’s been in New England and Canada. Enjoyed your episode and look forward to having my brain rotted a little more soon. 💕
  • If I was to label myself it might be Campbell's Craftsman Can Do Can Everything.
