I adore this song, its rhythm, the melody, his voice... Oh my, it always boosts my mood when I listen to this song. His voice is like honey and butter on hot toast. Pure perfection. Definitely one of my very favourite Elvis songs from the 60s.❤
  • My favorite Elvis song out of so many. Stafford’s version is fun because of what the backup singers do and the organ. That said, Stafford has a limited vocal capability never more pronounced than when he lets the backup group tackle the blurting out of “Suspicion “. Elvis hits it strong and beautifully while Stafford takes a rest and lets the backup singers do it. At least he knew he paled in comparison to Elvis and didn’t try to match him. Smart man. 😆

Sweetness and power, you don't know what you will get with Elvis as he can give you everything.
  • One of my favorite Elvis songs!! Beautiful song an Elvis' voice as always spectacular! Love your reactions to Elvis!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤!! Would you please add Mess of Blues to your playlist!! I believe you'll like it!

Every time I listen to Elvis, he always sounds so differently each time. Even if I listen to the same song over and over, I always catch some nuance I didn’t notice before. His voice is like butter & then that one line “ why torture me?)” makes it so unusual. Great reaction as usual. 😊❤❤

His voice was unique and always fit the music genre he chose. Perfection.
  • Happy Elvis Sunday 🎉👑🌹 Love Suspicion. His voice is so smooth and calming...and oh so sexy! Not sure if you've done any songs from the album From Elvis In Memphis? His voice is just WOW!! ❤

Elvis sunday has become such a staple of my week. ❤ Elvis Presley 53 - 77, I love every single word he sang! But this time period, his voice just had that little something extra. The tone of his voice and those high notes, almost feels beautifully heartbreaking. My favourite song from this period is 'Theres always me' you should give that one a listen.
  • Good morning Nick, and a very lovely Sunday it is! Suspicion is one of my favorite’s although choosing an Elvis favorite is much like choosing a favorite child…impossible. This one is truly golden beginning with a playful rhythm that belies the emotion he describes. It suggests the spirit of not him, but the woman in question that enjoys toying with a man. As he employs notes oh so feathery that trail off with a vibrato so perfectly controlled that it reaches us as an echo affect. Introducing the reason for his pain Elvis Shifts without warning into opera but for that single word, “suspicion” and your heart quickens. He does not leave you there, as he might in his other songs; rather he changes to falsetto when asking “why torture me” but the word “me” becomes the feather once more that flutters back to the songs bass line. It is a song brilliantly sung, filled with nuance and intrigue. In it you feel her dancing around him and enjoying the pain that she inflicts. If I got carried away on this one Nick, I must apologize! It’s just that this one is so much more than just Potluck! Thanks for bringing us into your day!❤️
  • @Elvista
Absolutely love this song.....especially the Baby Elvis vocalization - so sweet and stunning. Love the later Elvis versions as well, of course. His voice is just something else as he grows into his vocal instrumental power and magic. Awesome stuff 💯⚡❤️

This should have been an A side and #1 on the charts. The one that got away!! Along with The Girl of My Best Friend !
  • I like both versions. Elvis had the most beautiful voice. I love songs where you get to hear just Elvis singing. Love your reactions. Keep on doing them? One of my favorites is Young Dreams from King Creole. Also, They Remind Me Too Much of You.

I really like the 2nd version better. Maybe because his voice seems so much clearer and stronger. Love him, whatever and always
  • I love both versions I love Elvis Presley to me he can't sing a song bad now maybe their songs that's bad but when Elvis gets a hold of them they're incredible that man could take any song and make it amazing May he rest in peace
  • Really liked this song, please react to "It's only love" somewhere in the near future, it's really good.
