I remember bouncing around in my theater seat joining in screaming with hundreds of others just enjoying our guy. It was great and I'm so thankful I grew up with Elvis's music and got to be witness to his whole career.

  • A lot a people don't know Elvis was playing the bass guitar because no one else knew how to play it
  • Another good Sunday elvis rewiew. This film is one of my favourite films😊
  • The ONE and ONLY ELVIS .A young ELVIS 22 or 23 y.o. and already .*** A KING***. The Golden Voice...You cannot mistaken ELVIS s voice with somebody else...IT S IMPOSSIBLE..There are at least 500000 ELVIS imitators worldwide , and yet NOT ONE sounds like HIM., or move like HIM... ELVIS was A NATURAL...Thank you ..I Love these ELVIS sundays.
  • His voice is just incomparable. He can sing any genre of music. indescribably charismatic. He have a playful, charming nature to his persona. this man is so handsome, and when he performs, you can’t take your eyes off him

I have found many reactors struggle with Elvis' movie songs. The technical aspect is one thing but it's impossible to understand the context of the song without seeing the movie. Someone reacted to a movie song, then began pondering whether it was a live show or a movie video. It annoys me when someone is purportedly doing Elvis reviews, but really have no idea about his life's work. I thoroughly enjoy your reviews and when you used the word "nostalgia" I almost cried. That's what it is. I am a lifelong Elvis fan; fan of his songs, the emotion he puts into his songs, his movies, his live performances and his beautiful soul. And, most certainly, his incredible good looks. But listening to Elvis brings me back to my youth, when all things were possible and life held such promise. I really do miss those days.

I've read that -Elvis played the bass in this song. -they had a break between the "pool" sequence and the close up one. Scotty Moore ( guitar) forgot to take off his sunglasses. (I never noticed that, because my eyes are always on Elvis😊) Great Sunday reaction! Thank you!
  • I have read that it was Elvis who played the bass at the beginning of the soundtrack.
  • Elvis was riding the crest of a wave at this time in his life - everything he touched turned to gold - great iconic song from a great film 🎵💙🎶

If you look at the far away shots closely you can see Scotty Moore is wearing sunglasses and the drummer is in a different position
