People make fun of her remarks that "Rupee is not falling but Dollar is strenthening". She was actually right, many economic illeterates did not even know that Indian Rupee got strengthened against Euro, Yen, pound, Australian n Singapore dollar, Russian rubble etc but USD strenghthened the most.

Being agnostic to parties, people who criticize don't realize what an immense feat it is to be a woman of her generation (in a country like India), and accomplish what she did. That kind of mental strength and brain power is not something that most men (in India or elsewhere) have. Don't put her on the same plane as an average Indian woman.

I am from Sri Lanka and I love her speeches. She is an extra ordinary women character.
