Recreating Deya's $100,000+ Lead Magnet in WordPress

Lead magnets are free content that you give out to in exchange for someone giving you their contact details, usually an email address. The main idea is to build up an email list of interested people that you can then engage with through further marketing to sell your paid products.

Some popular types of lead magnets include:

Ebooks or whitepapers
Checklists or templates
Free trials or demos
Discount codes or coupons
Webinars or video trainings
Quizzes or assessments

But my absolute favourite lead magnet? A Mini Course or a 3-part Video Series. Here’s how it works: you give away the first video for free, and then users have to sign up for your mailing list to get access to the second and third videos.

Recently, I came across a content creator named Dayu    / @mynameisdeya   and noticed that she had a link in the description of her videos. When you click it, it takes you to a free video that is part of a 3-part video series. To unlock Videos 2 and 3, you must subscribe to her Mailing List (this grows her list) and at the end of the final video (video 3) she promotes her paid products (a low ticket $7 product and higher ticket $1000+ product).
