PS VR 2 has been Abandoned!!

Bought one to play re4 remake and have not touched it since.

They got me with psvr2 the same way with psvr 1. Psvr started out with Skyrim and resident evil 7, and not a single decent AAA game was released after. Psvr2 started out with 2 resident evil games and GT7, and not a single decent AAA game after. All they have to do is add a headcam vr mod to any of their many good games, but they won't. What a slap to the face for people who spent as much on the psvr2 as a ps5 cost

I have both PSVR and VR2. The PSVR has 532 games and the VR2 has 294. I understand that development has slowed down to a crawl however there are 800 games on both platforms to play. What I have done, was wait after release for a while and then buy it off a person that got sick of it (like home gym sets) and for peanuts in which I did. Now I am enjoying VR with games that have been more than 50% off (used and new physical disc copies) and not get suckered into buying off the PS store (like you would be for Steam ~ Meta 3) But then I already own a PS4/5.

VR headsets are costly items for a very niche customer base. There's no mass market appeal - yet, and the prices currently put a lot of people off. If there ever is a 'VR headset' that is physically identical in size and weight to a pair of glasses, with no external battery dangling of your waist... that will be the day I get involved in VR.

no it hasnt. ign stated this, and sony has asked for a retraction. As this was not true. They have a contract with valve and linkage to pc with the headset now. So thet have not dropped the headset.

LOL? The mixed reality thingies are something which I find super creepy and just a way for these companies to keep mining more information from you, so where I could have bought a VR "helmet" if I had the money, there is no way in hell I will ever get those mixed reality glasses.

Get the Quest 3. Its fucking amazing! It has a Quality eye slider or whatever and you can adjust it so your eyes dont get blurry. Its superior to the PSV1, Quest 2. i had both of those and the quality was not good.

I had a lot of great games on the original Playstation VR. Sony said "no backward compatibility on PS VR2". I said " fuck off then".

I still have and use my PSVR, why, because arrogant Sony thought i would just dump my entire PSVR libary and pay them £500 for that privilage.......yeah how did that work out for you Sony?

You bought 2 games tho 😂 That sucks that RE 8& 4 dont entice you. Im perfectly happy with this being my first and only VR headset so even the ports are brand new to me. So I can enjoy drums rock, synth riders, red matter 1&2 and esp The Walking dead 1 &2. Hopefully more stuff comes out, but im not feeling as impatient as 90% of psvr2 users. Its all good in my book
