An Olympian at that age is awesome. I hope she represents us well.

I read that the breaking competition will be out on the streets of Paris. Sick!

Sunny is a queen and all the best to her

I used to see break dancers using cardboard to hone their skills...now it's being debuted with a full Olympic stage!
  • @RapOperaCentral
She called a 2,000 a basic power move then proceeded to do a swipe which is an actual basic power move. She's going to be dope in the Olympics!😅 And for those who don't like breaking being in the Olympics, simply go watch something else. For all of the breakers who live this, let's keep supporting the culture and keep an eye on where this goes. Go Sunny!

Gosh man ... I'm 56 and was a bboi in the early 80's in BK with my adidas track n shell tops w fat laces heck even in middle school in the late 70's we'd top rock which was a precursor to break dancing and a donkey move was like Waaaaaa! n now it's an Olympic sports. Did I say Gosh.

  • @ElaineBarlow
ohhhh I would have been a contender back in the day. This is wonderful to see. Brings back THE BEST memories of my youth. ❤
  • @CA2SD
She's cool! I know some ppl may think this is not Olympic worthy, but I am positive that this will bring high ratings! Good luck Sunny!

She left her job as the DIRECTOR of GLOBAL Creative Operations at freaking ESTEE LAUDER to fulfil a childhood dream of hers. This is the kind of inspirational story that everyone needs to watch and really feel in their soul. Do what makes you happy! If you don't know what that is yet, experience all that life has to offer and try new things to find what you enjoy. You only have this one life, so why waste it doing something that doesn't bring you joy? If the reason is "money", then, well... not to "get political", but that's just another reason for Universal Basic Income, in my opinion. We as humans create technology so that we can work less, not more. Remember that.

Adding breaking totally makes sense. It's so gymnastic to begin with. Should have been done many Olympics ago. 👍🏻
  • @rokmin8550
I'll be watching! I'm so glad she's doing what she wants to, best of luck to her!
  • @Ritamag74
Glad Shawn was able to pull the focus to him, the important start of the story.
  • The Australian break dancer brought me here. This lady in this video is good.

O" yes the car cruising on Hollywood Blvd and sunset. In the 70s. On the walk of fame, the sidewalks with the radios blasting with anything to be used as a cushion on the concrete, we're some of the most dangerous moves, dancing break dancing, what is now a sport. But back then it was a historical part of Los Angeles. And the artist, the rap songs of the times who made break dancing an art. With only one gol to have a great time and they did with hundreds of others of that generation. We will never forget those good times in Los Angeles and the memories this new generation brings back from the real break dance error those 1970s.. Because there's no stopping us.
  • Weird that it’s not included in 2028 in LA. First seen in NYC Bronx in the 70’s.
