The problem: Two characters get off of a city at different times in the story, but the same location. The solution: Put both actors on the bus at the same time and record them exiting separately,
varying the focal length multiple times for different shots. This is good way to creatively maximize a location or prop that you have no control over.

@medalliondlx I was the only camera operator and there was only ONE camera. Thanks for watching!

I don't know how I missed this episode, but this was really good info!

Caught myself saying "Wow" out loud at least 4 times during the final cut.

@holiday4086 I said I "linked" (which could sound like "winked") the two shots together by cutting on the action of the bus doors opening.

Probably should have warned the bus driver that you were shooting a movie... haha made for a good little story though I guess. I hope you make it big! I love to see good talent come out of Utah.

I believe you said you "winked" it, in referring to the last bus shot and the actress. What does that mean?

HA! I'm a driver for that bus company!! It was funny to see the driver's concern for the female. She did look pretty bad.
