Simone Biles has undoubtedly been the most dominant gymnast when it comes to all-around competitions since her senior debut in 2013.
The American athlete has 7-National, 5-World and 1-Olympic all-around titles under her belt, topping the most-decorated-of-all-time list.
However, she's not always unbeatable. Although it's highly uncommon, the GOAT has not finished on top of the podium a few times throughout her career.

In this video, we'll take a look at the only 3 gymnasts who have outscored Simone Biles in the all-around.

  • Katelyn Ohashi's beautiful elite gymnastics are forever ruined for me by knowing all the pain that was behind it
  • Simone's proper pacing by her coaches made her an absolute beast in this sport(except her physical advantage), not by becoming a 'junior prodigy'. The results of the gymnast in the junior years definitely shows who are the ones to watch in their transition in becoming a senior but not an accurate way to predict who will dominate once they debut. Sure, there are promising juniors that had successful careers like Grishina and Komova but those are the same ones that had a relatively short career because of peaking as a junior and also burning out.
  • As you said, it's always important to remind that Simone is only human even if sometimes we forget about that due to her perfection.
  • Ohashi's 2013 balance beam routine is STILL my favorite ever competed. To this day.
  • Suni is legendary tbh. The fact the had not even a perfect UB routine and still beat simone with only one fall! Most can’t even beat simone when she falls twice or three times🤣
  • Kyla, Katelyn, and Suni. I knew the list before the video started. I think Suni beating Simone was a factor in what happened at the Olympics. It had to increase the pressure even if it was just one day.
  • Time for Cole’s unsolicited opinion! Price is Right Theme - Katelyn Ohashi could’ve been a world AA champion against Simone multiple times if she had a coach like Simone’s. Her beam could’ve easily won worlds. Imagine if she upgraded the same way Simone did over the next few years. I really do think her beam (and her clean bars with upgrades) could’ve given her the edge in 2013-14 at least. - I had no idea Kyla ever beat Simone. Wow. - ok that’s all actually oops
  • 3:18 didn’t the other 11 gymnasts also beat Simone or does that not count. No hate or anything just wondering. Awesome video btw
  • Biles, arguably, is the best gymnast of this second decade of the 21st century and one of the 5 best gymnasts of all time. Statistics, records and Olympic and world medals are there for anyone to analyze for themselves! Brazil loves Biles!! ;)
  • The only three gymnasts to ever beat Simone all happen to be Asian as well
  • Simone was beat three times in the all around, all in her first year as a senior. She then went on to wind worlds that year, HER FIRST YEAR AS A SENIOR. This is unheard of. Unbeatable for 8 years after that.
  • @mustawgym
Just a tiny correction for the phrase at the end of the video: When Simone biles is on and hits all four events she IS unbeatable Nevertheless, the people who actually beat her in a competition deserve all the credit for that despite Simone’s errors in the same respective meet. It’s a reaaaaaally exclusive club after all.
  • I really enjoy watching all the athletes in WAG mentioned in this list. Kyla I feel is so underrated. She has beautiful form and swings bars elegantly.
  • 2013 seems so long ago 🥺💔. It would’ve been awesome if katelyn could’ve stayed longer in the elite. Her and Kayla looked so happy in collegiate gymnastic and undeterred by mistakes. Simone is the GOAT, even with a Scarce amount of hiccups. I knew watching her compete wouldn’t last forever but it doesn’t negate the fact I’ll miss watching her perform.
  • I love Katelyn Ohashi and I was convinced she was going to be a gold beam Olympic medallist. So sad :-(
  • Interesting that they all happen to be Asian Americans: Katelyn, Kyla, and Suni. They and Simone are all great and champions!
  • Do you think Suni outscoring her added pressure? I mean I legit used to think she could make a lot of mistakes and still win AA everytime (like in 2018 worlds) but not this time, she had to hit if she wanted to win because other gymnasts were chasing her very closely. One mistake and Suni or Andrade Winning and Simone taking silver would've been a scandal in the media.
  • @bellah718
its crazy how over that many years she only lost to 3 other gymnast 5 times!?? not many people from any sport a round the world can say that!! she is my idol <333
  • I really respect Simone Biles. As a Miss Val fan I enjoyed seeing Kyla Ross and Katelyn Ohashi with the Bruins.
