What Its Like CHEATING in Overwatch 2

Have any of you come across any cheaters in Overwatch 2 yet??

I'm surprised people haven't made a hack where there's a Mercy bot that scripted to follow you around and pocket you the whole match

I always love the irony of people playing solder 76 (the guy with an aimbot ult) and aimboting.

I always thought about the idea of an aimbot for anna/bap that makes you land 100% of your shots but only on allies. It would be undetectable. No teammate is going to report you for healing too much and no enemy is going to figure it out because there is no kill cam when healing allies. It's so perfect that there's a good chance it does exists but goes completely unnoticed.

At this point it's not really possible to compete with the amount of hackers in this game man it's insane.

There is also strafe cheat which allows you for example to dodge almost every shot from hanzo on mid or far range. They also automatically strafe forward and backwards when you try to shoot them from unexpected flank

Best cheat i ever seen was a Reinhardt with his Soldier76 bot. He shielded and he followed him with the exactly same movements the different was only the soldier keeps a 2 meters distance from him but always behind him so nobody could hit Soldier even without shield

I've been suspicious of a few players in a lot of comp games in OW2, but the cheaters are very subtle about it. You really have to watch the replay after game too see it clearly

Personally the problem with Blizzard letting cheaters hang around for awhile before doing mass sweeps is that , I no longer want to play the game after awhile . It does nothing for me except de-motivate me from playing comp at all. I guarantee Im not the only person either. Banning Cheaters in the game should be done as quickly as possible as to not de-motivate people who want to test themselves in fair competition. I see people cheat every day in this game , its just not fun for anyone. They should be dealt with as soon as possible , and there should be a proactive way to make sure these cheaters themselves are dealt with in a more serious way. If Blizzard bans the accounts of these cheaters , who is to say they don't just make another account and use the cheats again?

Welp. Just found a cheater today in comp actually. When he killed me as Hanzo I immediately called out to my team "Guys. . . That Hanzo has some REALLY fishy aim" and explained to them what I saw. The Hanzo was kind of looking at the floor and flicking his mouse upwards at our Orisa, the moment I as a Moira came out of my dash around a corner, he instantly flicked to me and gave me a headshot while seemingly just humping his mouse forwards. I told them to look out for that guy and after a while they all agreed. As he was specifically targeted by us and died a few times, apparently we cracked his tiny ego and he went soldier with utmost perfect tracking even Osu veterans would be jealous of. When we killed him like that too, he went bastion and completely ruined the round for everyone. The way he was aiming drastically changed when he switched from Hanzo to the others. Instead of having spastic flicks whenever he was shooting, he was only flicking once someone died - or someone else got too close to him, then he had perfect tracking. He always went for the closest target to him, regardless if it was the invisible Sombra trying to backcap or the Junkrat doing some mine jumps. Not every good player with godlike aim is immediately a hacker, of course. . . But there is a point where quick flicks into perfect tracking without overshooting the next player with the crosshair for even a moment is just getting too obvious. TL;DR: Skill issue'd in comp. He had a better gamer seat.

I saw a play of the game where the opposing Mercy killed five people on our team with head shots. Why she was only bronze is beyond me with skills like that.

the best kind of cheaters go catch and get banned are the ones that rage hack just and dont think theyll get caught

You know cheaters would not be so bad if blizzard actually did things to help the victims such as pro rating lost sr from comp as a example when a cheater was verified. Blizzard sucks though I have seen more hackers in plat and diamond then ever before in Overwatch 1. It’s so obviously a issue among many with this game

This game has WAAAY too much cheating and sadly not enough is done about it. I would like to see a review system like CSGO
