Pokémon Advanced Generation Review Part 1 (EAM)

I really loved the ep ‘Balance of Power’. It challenged Max’s idolisation of his father when Ash defeats him for the Balance Badge & made him realise that he can’t put him on the pedestal he imagined any longer since he saw that his father was capable of losing like any other trainer.

This is my favorate Ash outfit.

Max sure did have a rough introduction, but after that first episode, he’s definitely one of the most underrated companions of the entire series in my opinion. Look at Do I Hear a Ralts for instance, that’s the greatest highlight of this character, and I hope you enjoy it too when you get to it. Edit: I also think Gonna Rule the School is a pretty chill filler episode, it’s alright, but not the best. I do agree with the missed opportunity thing, and also Ash doesn’t get to battle Team Rocket while everyone damn else does, but I do think this was when Max first learned to battle and that knowledge was later briefly utilized in A Six Pack Attack and the earlier mentioned Do I Hear a Ralts.

Nero is the name of the Whiscash. The annoying one off in that specific episode is Sullivan.

My favourite Chronicles episode was Training Daze, but I think that came out after this season. It's about Team Rocket and training. Apparently Jessie kept ditching her partners until they introduced her to James. Their bond is really good in it. We're No Angels was cute, though. I liked May. Mainly because she didn't like Pokemon and just wanted to travel at first. I kind of wish that she didn't have to adore Pokemon after meeting Torchic, but I guess that would mean she couldn't be in the series.

Hey EmployeeAMillion, do you think spongebob season 11(your favorite season aside from season 1-3) is just as good to be in the golden era status like seasons 1-3?

I thought after Harrisson told ash about what he did in hoenn which gives ash to be inspired to go there

It’s weird because people actually think that the advanced series is underrated and here you not really thinking it’s amazing but just wait till next two seasons

I didn’t see Pokémon chronicles but my thoughts is that it’s okay

13:57 it felt dragged out honestly could have been 30 episodes than 52

I always thought max and bonnie were aimed towards the younger siblings of Pokémon fans who are just kinda there watching with you because your older and get to decide what to watch lol

2:54 binge watching it wasn’t hard honestly and I just started this in February
