Sweet setup for extending the runtime on your Ultra. How fast does the electric car 'driving battery' recharge the 12v battery in this setup? Does your 12v battery ever die? 700 watts is a bit of power.

My inverter came, it works but I noticed that if I touch bare metal on my car I get shocked.. does yours do that? I see you have a lot plugged into yours so maybe it is grounded in a way that mine isnt?

Why 2ga wire and not 6 or 8ga? Seems excessive even for a continuous load.
