As my walk with Jesus grows, the more I come to realize that prayer is far more satisfying to PRAISE and THANK Jesus for what we do have, than ask Him for more. He is our Great King, and knows what we need better than what we do. Just thank Him for all that you have and all He will give you. Don't put out a laundry list of your desires, Just know He is God and will providw all good things that He knows will help us grow in Him. He is faithful to provide all we truely need,

Amy's beautiful voice touches my soul. She has dealt with Alzheimer's with her father. I am dealing with Alzheimer's now with my wife. This beautiful song brings peace to my mind. Thank you Amy! Your talents touch me in many ways!

Yes she was given the voice of an angel and a platform to sing for God. The bible is all about repentance and forgiveness. Matt 5:7 Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy. I dont know about you but I need grace and mercy every day.

Nothing is more beautiful than a woman singing from her heart praising the Lord God. I don't think she could sing with this much feeling if it were not in her heart. Jesus came to save us from our sins, thats it! If He saved me, he can save anyone. He said " I come to give you a new comandment; that you love one another" Nuff said.

This is the first tiene I hear it in English. When I was a child I learned in Spanish. I used to sing this song all time. It is Nice to hear it again. I really enjoy it. Be blessed our God!

This rendition of El Shaddai was so moving and powerful. Michael Smith really knows how to wring the right amount of gravitas and ethos with the piano accompaniment. He is a talented pianist and vocalist.Both of them are amongst the gospel greats." Thy Word" was well done, and those harmonies were tight and beautiful.

Looking back 13 years. FOR SURE Amy Grant was and always will be a standard for Worship & Praise music 🎶. While Michael Smith was already accomplished..... what he had produced since that time ! His work is a very large part of my Playlist ▶️! As much as I cherish the music 🎶 I enjoy the videos all the more. The genuine look of Worshiping the Lord of Lord King of Kings, in their faces, at some point performing 🎭 day in and day out must become a grind, yet in that moment the genuineness of their faith, love, and praise always seems to shine through, May God continue to bless them with strength and perseverance in bringing plain folk to a hunger for the Lord Amen!

I remember hearing El Shaddai when I was a new Christian in 1980 and it holds a special place in my heart. Then to hear Thy word is a lamp unto my path was a promise God gave me in 1984. This melody of song brought back so many memories and led me to tears. We are now in 2023 and I’m 64 years old and I hope I can sing these songs in heaven. Blessings to Amy Grant and Michael W Smith.
