Queen Latifah is the definition of a renaissance women. She conquered music, tv, movies and more and did it on her own terms. In her own lane. Taraji was so right when she said that Queen's journey is one to be studied.

I'm a black female currently earning a BFA degree in Acting. This is very inspiring to me, thank you for this gift! Phew, it must be nice to be a star and have the freedom to go with whatever lines you feel appropriate. If we tried that in my school, we risk getting kicked out of class LOL!

Proud of Latifah! Been down with her since 'Wrath of My Madness" in 1989. She's come along way (with her big sexy self)! Taraji is worldwide right now and has limitless range as an actress. Much respect to both of these queens!

she played Bessie and I didn't hear about it till now?!?!?! she deserved all the Oscars. Bessie was a huge part to the starting point of jazz and real soul, I mean she was the inspiration to Billie who could sing what she felt and be an icon and an influence to musicians everywhere. I am furious!
