Dad drugged at Montrose bar after drinking his wife’s drink roofied by a ‘creepy’ guy

Daniel and Melissa Zuniga were out at their favorite local watering hole, Rudyard’s, along Waugh Drive in Montrose. It’s a bar the high school sweethearts have been visiting for more than two decades.
“It was supposed to be just a normal night,” Daniel told KPRC 2′s Gage Goulding.

This happened to a friend of mine I was out with. It’s the end of the night and she “isnt feeling well enough to walk”, so I go around the block to get the car, and when I pull around she isnt there. Instead shes in the ambulance thats on the corner. I end up following it to the hospital, and then sit with her in the ER all night. Until like 10 am. It sucked. This was like 20 years ago, but still one of the worst nights of my life.

I’m a bloke, when I was 25 someone drugged my lager in a London pub as soon as I knew something was wrong I left immediately and went straight home.

I have been drugged twice. Once in San Marcos, Texas and again in Studio City, California. I stopped going to bars. Both times I was with other people and they got me home.

Bars sometimes use a scanner to verify the validity of your ID. These units should also capture a photo of the ID so that when something like this happens, they can match the miscreant in the video with an ID and he'd be in jail in a couple of hours.

Happened to me at 40 years old in a "friends" home. She has invited a friend from work, he told her to go to store go get a few things and he'd make dinner. Instead he drugged me, by the time she got back from store I was puking and releasing everywhere oyr of my body. It was horrible. To this day I do not know uf she was in on it.

I always keep my drink in my hand. Even when I went to the bathroom. I’m 56 been doing this for years.
