Ignore the bossy people, and you are doing absolutely fine by doing things your own way.

Communication is key. Volunteers need your guidance on how you want it done. Don't knock the volunteers.

I’m so glad you had help with the tree. The red geraniums are beautiful. So much work, but you’re doing it Phil and everything is looking great.

Geraniums are so cheerful and easy to care for. I love the red. I think color is important to me, personally, just because it's a mood lifter. That tree is a huge task. Good for you to take it on. Professionals seem to charge an arm, a leg and a spare kidney! Lol! Things are looking good!

Seeing you get your tree cleared up that much is more satisfying than watching you clear out one of your rooms. What a difference difference it made! I can’t wait to see what happens as you progress.

Having plenty of experience with volunteers, all you have to do is say if you can do X like this and tell them how you want it done and why with a thanks, then they usually get it close enough without making more work for you later. Folks do want to help but without direction, they do it their way. As for the folks trying to butt in on how you are doing things, ignore the comments. By addressing them you only encourage more of it. If you feel you need to explain something, do like you did today and say this may seem out of order but here is why I am doing this now. Keep things simple for yourself. Love that the tree had so much progress made on it!
