Ok that opening sealed the deal, that was amazing. I really hope the movie focuses on the brothers' relationship, how much they care for each other. I think that would make the movie a smash hit, and add something to the whole franchise

I'm in my 30s, grew up with Mario, and recently introduced Mario to my kids (5 and 8). The 5 year old is a big fan. I can't wait to take both of them.

the Super Mario franchise is absolutely timeless. Remembering the years of me being a kid and playing all the Mario games from SNES to N64 to my son now playing the games on his Nintendo Switch, I appreciate that him and I can share the love of these characters. Looking forward to watching this with him in the Theatres!

One thing i really appreciate is that the characters isn’t disproportional like in the other illumination movies, where everyone has slim limbs, tall heads, or any other weird proportion. Now it actually looks like a human being!

So we have the head nod to the 90's show, the mario game itself, mario kart, and donkey kong. This looks awesome! Wondering how this is going to play out with the plot. Anyone else expecting an easter egg to the 90's movie at some point ? lol

I just wish that Capt. Lou Albano was still alive, he would be surely smiling while looking at this.
