why I'm WORRIED about Dokkan 2024 WWDC...

Considering I pulled all the headliners of 9th year plus WWDL units returning much sooner, skip is almost the best strat for F2P like me.

I thought I was tripping cause the power creep in this game is insane now I’ve been playing since middle school and I remember people back then complaining about how there was no hard content but today it’s just like units only last like 6 months and they are getting power creeped. I was actually thinking of skipping wwdc because of what happen to the ssj goku and coolers .I’m just hoping they relax next year and you know hold off on dropping ridiculously hard content give me some easy shit 😂.

The only really good still playable character last WWDC is imo the STR Future Gohan in Beast Gohans team. Fusion Zamasu is okayish right now. The other 2 are frauds and already were at their limits on release.

Dokkan is becoming toxic with how fast they’re power creeping units. Dokkan needs to slow down the difficult content and give us a year of just fun new units

Really good video. I just wanna point out Merged Zamasu LR is Still really useful. Just that the longer content is getting Harder. Personally I think dokkan creators should start pushing That The game is getting too Toxic and unfun.

WWDC Units this time will not be handled as soft as last year. It's evident in the following months from WWDC 2023 that we've completely shifted tides of power, character designs, and conditions there's no way this WWDC won't be as broken/on par with at least the 9th Anniversary units.

I think they are fully aware of the power shift the problem is people want harder content and whilst when they released they were the best of the best content has moved on making them insignificant however EZA is a thing and thank god because it means even if you summon them and they are useless 6 month down the line no doubt 1year down the line thier eza will break the game again

Great video, I think I'm only going to do 1-3 rounds on each of the DF banners and then save for 10th Anni. I usually summon for units that I don't already have, and since I'm a recent player I usually don't have some of the older Dokkanfests. Even then though, nobody really talks about how the New Years banner for 2025 is gonna have crazy value since it'll have 2024's EZA units and Dokkanfests. I'm probably going to save 600 stones for that and then the rest for the 10th Anniversary. I think it would be a good video idea to break down how New Years Step-Up is gonna look like. Good discussion about WW once again.

While I do see the point you are making, Id like to note that theres been a major shift in how theyre handling dokkan fest and carnival LRs this year. It seems theyre very aware of power creep, and designing characters to have longer lifespans even after their initial performance has become weaker comparitively to the rest of the game. I think the same will be true for the next WW celebration. The difference has been, that alot of the major celebration characters this year have "Win condition" mechanics. Mechanics that temporarily boost them to far above the level of the current meta for a short time. I.e beast taunt, gogeta taunt, teq UI domain, cell max taunt, jiren standby, etc. These mechanics, while they dont make a unit eternally viable, mean that even once the characters have aged out, they will still have value unique to them, that will never be rendered useless. I think theyll continue to push for this style of character, and so I think while power creep will continue to go at a similar rate, it will not as harshly effect 2024 characters as it has for prior years.

There’s a good chance one of these 4 units will be comparable to beast gohan levels of absurd and I’m only making this assumption based off the fact that they haven’t missed yet in 2024 other then agl frieza. But the reality is 2022 and 2023 were really iffy years I doubt that they will fumble I mean surely right?😊

The reason I pull for wwdc units is because they are either real hype characters or good for the recent content they come out for

I am heavily considering skipping and saving for Teq UI's return (because his domain is unmatched in utility imo) and STR Roshi because I'm an earth bred fighters guy. Especially since idk if WWDC will either last that long power creep wise or be that good for my box. It definitely depends. I am f2p btw.

To keep it short, only summon if the unit is being compared to being as strong as Beast Gohan

What are they gonna call WWDC now? The whole point of it's name was so that global and JP would be synced temporarily during the celebration. Now that both versions are going to be synced SYNCED, what's it going to be called now??
