BC man accused of driving into ocean for livestream stunt faces 5 new vehicle-related charges

The 19-year-old man accused of intentionally driving into Burrard Inlet in Port Moody, B.C., as a part of a paid livestream stunt is facing several new driving-related charges.

Jawad Fawwaz is charged with mischief under $5,000 for allegedly driving his car into the ocean off Rocky Point Park on March 4.

Port Moody police allege a popular U.S.-based livestreamer had offered him cash to perform the stunt, though it remains unclear if he was ever paid.

  • Kitten's cutesy haircuts and narcissistic posing for his phone pretty much says it all. One note of positivity though, in the US the cops wouldn't even waste their time with someone like him, especially in California, where you have to be videoed from multiple angles (with your face clearly visible), committing a high-level felony, with multiple cooperative witnesses, and a solid known address, before they will ever roll a cruiser to attempt to arrest you. So, count your blessings, Canada.
