Hey everyone! Join me and play along with these two very important strumming drills - improve your right hand as well as your ability to accent and play with others. They're fun to do - we'll play them together and I hope you'll make these a part of your daily practice routine. Cheers! Shane

Have you ever noticed in Shane’s lessons, he can play a few bars and we hear the song right away. This lesson tells us why , just an extraordinary sense of rhythm. So much talent no doubt but also hard work over many years . We are lucky to have him sharing his techniques and love of the instrument. It always comes through. Thxs Shane.
  • Thank you. Would appreciate continuing to do additional strumming videos. As a retired band director I love the "walk-a-chick-en" for 16th notes. Will add that to the list 🙂
  • So many little jewels in this lesson - a lot more than the title would suggest. This is so helpful to those of who are rhythm impaired. Thanks!
  • You have come perilously close to persuading me that I need a BeatBuddy. This is a great lesson. Thanks.
  • I think he's one of best online teachers I've seen, maybe the best. Justin is very good too. It shows a great drill and really demonstrates that rythmic ability can definitely be learned for those that don't have it so much naturally. Well done Shane, thankyou! a great drill. 😊
  • Sean, great drills. You’re a great teacher. Thanks for everything you do.
  • A great “right hand” is a gift and YOU have it. You and James James have the best strumming on the web!
  • I’m a beginner lefty bought me a inexpensive acoustic guitar. I have watched many YouTube channels and videos of lessons and lyrics and chords. By far your channel is my favorite! Thank you for inspiring me to learn how to play the guitar.

Another awesome lesson! So very grateful!🙏🎸

Awesome Shane! This really helped me! I had a breakthrough moment when you blended 8th with 16th pattern. I never thought I could do that. Thanks a ton, sir!

Thank you for sharing such amazing lessons. I have definitely noticed a big difference in my playing experience since following your lessons. I’m looking forward to playing my first live show. A bit nervous but I’ll have your voice reminding me of what to watch out for. Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us.
