Lemon Napoleon Cake

Hello Friends!
I am very excited to share with you the favorite recipe of our family that I’ve been mastering to perfection – it’s Lemon Napoleon cake. Even though I’ve made dozens different cakes in my bakery, every year my husband asks for this particular cake for his birthday.
We will make it from scratch, and I will share with you all tips and tricks so your cake will turn out perfect at first attempt! Who knows, maybe Lemon Napoleon will become your favorite cake as well?

RECIPE
Ingredients for cake layers:
150 ml of cold water
300 g of frozen butter
2 eggs
2 tbsp. of lemon juice
dash of salt
600 g of sifted all-purpose flour

Ingredients for Lemon Custard:
Zest of 1 lemon
1 l of milk
100 g of flour
8 egg yolks
1 tsp of vanilla extract
400 g of sugar
150 g of butter.
