We are fed by the media that dysfunctional relationships are the norm, that if you haven’t experienced deep pain by your person it somehow illegitiimatizes the relationship. So when a healthy one is displayed everyone starts losing their shit. This is an example of the standard to which people should be holding their significant others. Relationships are as serious as the individuals within them. You don’t have to know these people to tell that they have a deep respect and want the best for each other. If you can’t handle committing to someone stay single...it’s not rocket science.
