Thoughts on Clearview AI? Do you support the need for his technology or are you concerned?

Does he not know the Snowden story? To think the government would stay in bounds give me a break.

This guy has mentioned crimes related to children 100 times in this video...it feels like a Trojan horse to cover anything else bad going to happen
  • @100HoneyComb
This kid is blinded by love. He loves his company and his tech and he s convincing himself it’s morally positive. It’s like dating someone you love but has a ugly side you kinda just ignore it. Then you try and convince everyone no she’s cool man “look at all these criminals we’ve found because of her”
  • @jacobzarate6450
This guy is one eyepatch away from being the worlds most evil villain. “You are all in my database and you will soon be controlled by the government……. Its to save the children.”
  • @YoungL_rd
He claims the software helps law enforcement. But only brings up Child Trafficking/Pornography. He is beating that drum a little too hard. He is 100% trying to hide/ cover something up.
  • @jayc0au
It’s not the AI Tech that’s controversial, it’s the ethics of data collection. Scrapping data for whatever purpose is a grey area. No wonder Google was peed off.
  • @DjDownBadd
Going off of the words out of his own mouth it’s clear he’s done his part to help ruin the future of the world. Thanks for the Interview though Pat
  • @100HoneyComb
He really likes to hide behind “but we’re finding criminals”
  • @dustsky
I'm curious to know how this guy managed to get his hands on such a huge database of faces in order to train his face recognition algorithms to such a high level of accuracy?
  • @lovev9904
I'm an Independent Latino, Thank you Patrick for asking copious questions, you are KING!!
  • @cuttheknot4781
This is insanity! Never trust a shut-in tech magnate who is skinny with a major gut. Makes me think of sticky sock piles and really weird internet searches...a chameleon?
  • Say NO to all that. It’s only a few making a lot of money using our privacy and data. That’s the main concern.
  • @jeffmofo5013
Doesn't want to use it for bad. Jan 6th. They are being held for over 2 years now. without trial, without bail.
  • @The_Don_Mogley
Dude looking like a badguy from Austin powers movie or something, the hair and the little belly action were trippin me out lol
  • I am VERY skeptical.. like you said Patrick, he seems like a “good guy” but what about the person who comes AFTER him?? Is his/ her intentions going to be good as well???
  • @manuhernz2745
Bright guy but he is like a mad scientist with tunnel vision that doesn’t see the dangers of actually giving birth to Frankenstein
  • I dont trust this guy.. He keeps bringing up the absolute worst case scenario (kids) and bases entire argument on this. "If ONE kid is saved it will be worth losing ALL of our rights over" This seems to be his attitude and decides to sideline all arguments. All the rest is fluff.
  • It's not the tech itself, it's who is in control of how it's used.
