ngl, the previous actor for ryan looks more like if he inherited his biological father's facial features, while the current ryan resembles her mother more.

This also happened with Sarah Lance in arrow. She was played by completely different woman in the first season and then was replaced with Caity Lotz.

Woah Ryan looking different was due to a recast? I could have sworn it was because I was transported to a parallel dimension, it was clearly the more sensible explanation

I noticed it because I watched the boys after season 3 was out and had spoilers so at the last second of season one or whatever I was like “that’s not the kid, whatever it’s a whole new season with the kid he’d age too much” and it’s not that deep

I noticed it. But that’s probably because I already saw the other actor when someone else was watching, so I knew how he should look like. That’s likely why I noticed it

To give credit, the current Ryan has changed appearance - due to him still growing. The 1st Ryan wasn't even there for very long
