Technique Problems Series Introduction & Stimulus to Fatigue Ratio

Published 2020-03-17
A quick guide to determining how much stimulus and how much fatigue an exercise is creating, and how to improve your execution to maximize results. A MUST WATCH before getting the most out of this series.

The Technique Problems Series will zoom in on one exercise at a time and point out common errors and how you can fix them. At the end of the day, nothing is dogma, and your technique should be the one that gives you the highest stimulus at the lowest cost of fatigue.

If you have suggestions for future exercises we can break down, please comment below. If you know the answer to another commentor's question, please feel free to reply to them!

If you have detailed questions, feel free to ask them in our weekly Youtube Q and A:    • RP+ Webinar with Mike and James 10 -1...

I feel like there's more to learn from just this channel alone than the rest of the YouTube fitness channels put together. Thank you Doc Mike!
  • I think this is by far the most important principle that I’ve learned from you Dr. Mike. I wish that I had known about this when I started training, because any time I was using a lighter load and getting a good pump I thought I was taking it easy. Years later, I have realized why, despite the fact of training for multiple sports, I have always felt the best performance increase when performing bodybuilding style training.

It’s a lot easier and more interesting to watch Mike on here than on his debate with Greg Doucette. Still don’t understand why he was so rude if he seems like a more than likeable guy on his channel lol
