They revealed in the Death Battle Cast on the episode that the writer of the episode made Misaka disrupt the kaiju on her own. It wasn't actually Killua's doing. She did this so she could trick him into aiming for the clone and setting up the kill shot.
-
In the analysis after the fight, a black box mentioned that Misaka’s greater power and resistance to mental attacks and paralysis could help her resist nen paralysis.
-
It's one of the things the ToAru series does DAMN well. Not only does it explore how the power would work as a concept, but it does so with characters that would understand how to use it and do so strategically. It's never just "haha, biri-biri go zzzzapppp", it goes hard on the science and physics behind each ability, which I did like that Wiz went into a nerd-out over.
-
Fun fact in one of the black boxes they actually said despite the statements that her Railgun is Mach 3, it has feats that contradict that, both in its destructive power for a projectile its size and it catching up to Hypersonic objects that she logically out speed it (The example they used was a Missile.)
-
I like how Misaka's sprite seems to be inspired by the Fighting Climax sprite
-
Even though they low balled miska and high balled killua it was still a stomp. They should not have done this.
-
Honestly even with some creative liberties, I think this is one of the most entertaining 2D episodes the show has done in recent memory Fun breakdown overall!
-
Honestly, the scene where Misaka says "No time to break" before the yoyo was about to hit seemed more like her standard magnetize to a metal surface trick.
-
In the Black Boxes they crew reasoned not to give her the AAA because at the time it was currently destroy (By Anna) and would not be available. Even though its been destroyed multiple times before and Misaka and other parties just rebuild it.
-
The Main Reason the fight was shown as it is shown Is to actually make it an actual "Fight" rather than just an Insta-Kill And I think for the sake of the fight people are Evacuated prior As for Misaka laughing at the end I don't think she was laughing at Killua's death She's just happy to have her Pin back as it conveniently landed in her hand
-
Misaka’s magnetic force is strong enough to lift a sky scraper
-
Misaka : Brings out the AAA Killua : "Welp. Guess I'll die."
-
I want to see Misaka with the AAA animated so badly
-
I think they should have used the dust and rubble from the destroyed building to properly pull out the Iron Sand decoys. You could even still have the heart fake-out using one of the Sisters, even though that would be ludicrously out-of-character for Misaka. But hey, it is a Death Battle, desperate times call for desperate measure and whatnot...
-
I think the iron sand infecting bit is actually meant to be Misaka using the iron sand to envelope killua and restrain him so she can properly pull off a railgun
-
I think the "paralysis" Nen induces is more fear/self-preservation based rather than attacking the Nervous system.
-
Edgy Misaka is best Misaka and i'm tired of pretending she's not.
-
Can you talk about Misaka dark side in New Testament in a video soon that through me off when you said that 😂

just to confirm some if your questions: 2:42 this is correct, it was confirmed in the voiceover episode 4:13 they basically mentioned exactly this in a black box after the fight. they said that misaka should resist the affects that nen has on non nen users as she has resisted misaki mind hax in the past 7:35 they mention during her analysis in a black box that they didnt include it because to paraphrase "its too different from her regular arsenal and its currently destroyed" while I don't agree with the first point the 2nd point sounds kinda reasonable 9:46 yeah this is an actual problem which DB has. there are many other examples of DB treating similar techniques like naruto shadow clones, like grays ice doubles and even kenshiros afterimages. you probably get the point. the fakeout itself was great nevertheless
