That brings back so many memories. It was a tough experience. It sharpened and polished me much more than before i entered the navy. Stay strong!!
  • Man I have family that live 1 minute away and hearing the navy at night brings me joy
  • Although it's been over 40 years watching this brought back a lot of memories (when I was in females went to Orlando FL for boot camp) and my first reaction off the bus was just like the one guy said "What did I get myself into". I made up my mind that I was NOT going to fail and what a proud feeling when you graduate and show the world that you are stronger than you think

Division 209 out of Ship 13 at Great Lakes. May 6th to July 7th, 2006. I'll never forget 80 guys going "TWO-ZERO-NINE! HOOYAH! WE CRUUUNK!" We actually said that. LOL :D
  • That black instructor is the unsettling kind. He seems laid back and seems to smile but he’s all business and no nonsense.
  • I went in 1977..it was like boy scout camp..the best time of my life..worked the flight deck on the USS Saratoga
  • I went through Marine Boot Camp years ago. This seems less intense but still demanding for sure. Kudos to my sailor brothers and sisters!
  • I'm shipping out on Tuesday April 23rd! I don't know how to swim, hopefully they teach me! WISH ME LUCK! 🙏
  • Watching over and over for inspiration till I ship out🙌🙌
  • keep your head up, just think about the next meal and when it’s time to sleep. easiest way to get thru it
