The physicality of this game is insane. Not like today's games where there's a flag every big hit or receivers wanting a flag more than they want to actually catch the ball.

I remember watching this game and it doesn't seem like it was 12 years ago. Wow!

Dallas closed out the 2008 season by playing the Steelers, Giants, Ravens, and Eagles, who had the 5th, 3rd, 1st, and 4th best point differentials in the league. The Steelers, Ravens, and Eagles all made it to the conference championship game. The Giants were the top seed in the NFC and lost to the Eagles in the divisional round. As much as I like to laugh at Dallas for collapsing that year they had an absolutely brutal final quarter of the season. They did lose 3 of the 4 games and got obliterated 44-6 by the Eagles in week 17 with a playoff birth at stake.

Everyone talks about the Cowboys being destroyed 44-6 in the regular season finale against Philly but no one talks about how this game they completely screwed them heading down the road

A crowd? No mask? Less then 6 feet? That seem like a far souvenir.

Man at the time I really thought this could've been the eventual matchup in super bowl 43. Then Dallas fell apart in December.

That sucks. dallas was 8-4 near the end, then collapsed against the ravens and eagles to finish 9-7. This team had potential, sad to see it wasted.
