Lyrics:
She ain't got no money
Her clothes are kinda funny
Her hair is kinda wild and free
Oh, but Love grows where my Rosemary goes
And nobody knows like me
She talks kinda lazy
And people say she she's crazy
And her life's a mystery
Oh, but Love grows where my Rosemary goes
And nobody knows like me
There's something about her hand holding mine
It's a feeling that's fine
And I just gotta say
She's really got a magical spell
And it's working so well
That I can't get away
I'm a lucky fella
And I've just got to tell her
That I love her endlessly
Because Love grows where my Rosemary goes
And nobody knows like me
There's something about her hand holding mine
It's a feeling that's fine
And I just gotta say
She's really got a magical spell
And it's working so well
That I can't get away
I'm a lucky fella
And I've just got to tell her
That I love her endlessly
Because Love grows where my Rosemary goes
And nobody knows like me
Fadeout:
It keeps growing every place she's been
And nobody knows like me
If you've met her, you'll never forget her
And nobody knows like me
La la la- believe it when you've seen it
Nobody knows like me

  • I remember when this song came out. I was a co-pilot on the Boeing 707 flying all over the world. I was praying for a wife, but had to wait until 1976 to meet my "Rosemary". We married in 1978. Sadly I lost her in 2018, but look forward to meeting up with her in Heaven.

The lead singer is very handsome; the camera just loves him.

I love this song at age 65 just like I did at age 13. Always makes me happy!

Imagine how touching to know that there's a person who write songs about you.

This was my Dads favourite song, he used to sing it to my mum ( her names Rosemary incase you didnt guess ) makes me smile everytime i hear it and remember happier times. Unfortunately my Dad passed over 36 years ago and my little mum now has dementia and lives in a care home now 88 i play this to her and i see her eyes light up again and shes young again. You had good taste Dad this is such a lovely song.

I'm 72, and this song taking me back when I was very young and in love. I'm glad that young generation has recognized the masterpiece and love the music of my heart and time. . That is awesome and makes me very happy. This is a proof that masterpieces never die. 👍👍👍👍👍❤🌹

This song was out when I was in 8th grade. Ill never forget Feb 28, 1970 this song was playing on the radio. I had just got home from my sisters funeral. She was 16 and had died on the 25th from injuries in a car crash. I cant hear this song without thinking of her. I miss you every day Susie. 💖

Feel so sorry for youth of today not experiencing life as we did.

Imagine having a song that was popular in the 70s then a bunch of teenagers start listening to it again and bring everyone back to it that you had to post the music video for it 🥺✋ Edit: just before anyone gets mad, music is free for everyone to listen to without being braided. I feel like the older generation should embrace young people listening to old music no matter when or where they originally heard it.

One of the best songs from the 1970's. It is still joyous, fresh, and infectious when played in 2023-- a classic!
  • I was born in 1991 but raised on 70s music - my mom’s generation. The best music in my opinion. They don’t make music like this anymore 😢

My name is Rosemary and I was 16 when this was on the charts. Oh what a time to be alive! ❤
  • My son dances with me to this song in the kitchen on Sunday mornings while I'm cooking his breakfast. It makes me infinitely happy.

Yes, this was my generation, simple, just raw talent, sweet and innocent, just plain love, that's all you need.

as a musician for 58 years i think this song is musically unique, in some ways, and could stand up to some of the beatles best.
